A small win, but a win nonetheless.

The owners and managers of this plant need to go to prison. For a very long time.

I expected to see it was the Tyson plant in Shelbyville again. I reckon they gave up on illegals and just hire “refugees” shipped down from Nashville these days.

Agreed, a minimum 25 year prison sentence for knowingly employing an illegal immigrant would go a lot farther in stopping all of this nonsense.

How many business owners / managers were arrested and charged with violating the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act
Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)?

Until business owners get sent to jail, this is just more catch and release.

..."Immigrant," spelled CRIMINAL INVADERS. Sheesh, MSM. We're tired of you always sugarcoating the villains and picking on Citizen Patriots. I think I hear your mother calling: go home and tell her she wants you.

Agreed. Personal thought ... if companies were say ... fined $250K PER illegal alien ... businesses would comply with current laws fairly quickly. Just saying.

300 US citizens will be in line tomorrow to fill those positions.

Local media seems to have a better grasp on it.

The contractor that built my house employed mostly illegals. If he did not he could not compete with other contractors. If we had real enforcement with severe penalties applied without exception my contractor would not hire illegals. He has no choice but to hire illegals, if he did not his business would fail!

If my house was built by legals it would have probably cost about 20 or 30 percent more. I would have gladly paid this if the illegal alien problem was solved. I am paying for it anyway in my taxes that go for housing, welfare, food stamps, medical care and even lawyers for illegal aliens.

The owners and managers of this plant need to go to prison. For a very long time.

Unless the owners and managers are prosecuted, this is just theater. Otherwise, the owners will just hire more illegals tomorrow.

If the owners ARE prosecuted, then suddenly companies across the US will stop hiring illegals.

Next step would be to stop state and local governments from providing benefits to illegals.

So...what was done to the employer?

Were they investigated?

Did they know...these people were illegal?

Did they look the other way?

Did all these illegals have fake SSI cards?

Good questions....I would like asked.

Because you dry up the jobs....you dry up the illegal's coming here.

How about this as an alternative. No tax deductions for business expenses unless and until the business can show that all employees were validated via e-verify.

Not the company’s first run in with the Feds. Looks like the Dept of Ag went after it in 2011 for some beef over weights/weighing.
