Apparently, recent DNA studies have determined that Egyptians are a separate ethnic group from Arabs. However, Anwar Sadat considered himself, and all Egyptians, to be Arabs. He also presided over the renaming of Egypt from the UAR to “The Arab Republic of Egypt”, a name it retains to this day.
Agreeing to Israeli forces being pulled out of Egypt is no saying Israel has a right to their own state.
All Israel is already in rocket range. Not sure about artillery, but it is close, very close. With modern advances, that day will soon come.
I think the reality here is that he needs a counterweight to Iran. As long as that is the case, an alliance, however shaky can be formed.
This is a first step. And a huge one. As far as the "Palestinian state" goes, Jordan is already a Palestinian state. There is a glimmer of hope that over the years the meaning could morph to mean Jordan.
“Egyptians are Arabs.”
While there are Arabs in Egypt and Egypt has adopted Arab culture (it’s even called the “Arab Republic of Egypt”), something like 91% of Egyptians are ethnically Egyptian.
Even their pedophile profit (PP) says in his book that Palestine belongs to the Jews.
[[Nobody seems to notice that he said, alongside a Palestinian state]]
Exactly- it was the first thing i noticed- he’s no friend of Israel-
Hm. I think I like this guy.
Good on M bin Salman !
Europe must be jealous.
The prince is preparing for the shift from an oil-based economy and the planned international trade city of Neom.
Central to this plan is a new trade route which bypasses the Suez Canal through the ports of Neom, with a path to the Mediterranean Sea through Israel over land.
The Saudi Kingdom is pumping half-a-trillion dollars into building Neom and this new trade route.
A very plausible explanation.
This Prince is a practical man by first impressions. He is not interested in religious quarrels at the expense of the prosperity of his Kingdom.
I hope he prepares himself for any possible coup that might take place.
Jordan is the ‘palestinian’ state.
The discussion didn't describe the specific border issues. Even Israel acknowledges that a two-state solution is what the future holds.
Besides who gives a flying fornication what a feudal monarch thinks?
Pretty much the entire Muslim world—especially since this "feudal monarch" rules an oil rich country which includes the two most important cities in the Islamic religion.
What the crown prince has said is a monumental, paradigm-shifting development. There's no dismissing or minimizing its importance—and the potential for advancing the peace process in Israel.
In any event, I'm absolutely convinced that Israel will aggressively defend both its territorial and security interests, as far as border lines are concerned...
Prior statement, Muslim scholar in Jordan:
‘Allah Gave Israel to The Jews, There’s No Palestine’
