President Trump often is quoted anonymously in news reports as a senior White House official, according to a new book from author Ronald Kessler.
Kessler, a former Washington Post reporter who has written books on the Secret Service, made that claim in his book, The Trump White House: Changing the Rules of the Game, which was released Monday.
Trump phones Maggie Haberman of the New York Times directly, as well as Philip Rucker of the Washington Post, and Jonathan Swan of Axios, feeding them stories attributed to a senior White House official, creating the impression that White House leaks even more than it already does, Kessler wrote.

How the Hell would he know?
(((YAWN))) Another Trump resistance “book”. If these clowns keep this up, the libs aren’t going to have any money left to donate to the “blue wave” in November. Georgie Soros is going to have to unass some big bucks if he plans to purchase the U.S. Government. The best government money can buy.
Don’t spoil his fun Ronald!
Still waiting for the left to tell me what he is. He’s either helping them, or he’s literally a nazi.
They can’t seem to get it straight.
Wasn’t that how they referred to Obama in the podesta emails?
Who knew!?
Even Trump can’t stand working for Trump!
Plot twist: the leaks are coming from INSIDE the White House.
By definition, White House leaks have to come from inside the White House, don’t they?
It’s called a Trump Sting. ...so PDJT knows what he said. ...and if the report is slanted he can start a twitter storm on it.
I apologize for being so stupid that I never realized Trump was the leaker. Boy, he really outsmarted me, didn’t he?
My apologies. I missed your obscure reference.
As someone who periodically posts obscure references with little to no accompanying context, you have my sympathy.

****
Fake News by a Fake News expert. Trump will not waste his time phoning up all these anti-Trump journOlists and make up stuff. He hates the lib media.
It works like this:
When the president wants a “high white house official” to leak, he simply assigns it to a high white house official too leak.
Too much exposure for a President to be leaking himself.
Have you checked the children?
Nonsense.
Failed former WaPo paperboy needs fake news publicity for first day of his book release.
No legs.
Just think of all the poor trees they are murdering to make these useless books.
