I watched ‘The Assassination of Gianni Versace’ on FX. It was riveting. It did show that Andrew Cunanan was abused by his father. It didn’t ‘show’ it, but the father gave Andrew the biggest bedroom in their new house. It showed the dad telling Andrew how when Andrew was small, his father helped him through a very painful experience and Andrew was silent, didn’t cry. Then it showed the father leaning over Andrew and turning out the light in the bedroom. Andrew was about 10 at the time. Previously it had shown Andrew, in an interview for his exclusive Catholic school, saying that in the future, he wanted to get married and have children. In double-blind studies, I believe that the number is well over 90% of gay men were abused as children. But in public, gay men will not acknowledge this fact.

I have an MS Word doc of dozens of study references, citing the incidence of child molestation, preceding identifying as homosexual.

Private Reply if you’d like me to email the Doc.

Nobody is “allowed” to conduct such studies today.

Thanks, but I read most of them when they were originally published. I remember, in the early 90’s, seeing the two ‘researchers’ who determined there was a gay gene, being interviewed on TV. They were both gay. And no one have ever been able to replicate their ‘research’. But Leftists still promote the ‘gay gene’ research, which has been debunked, but the debunking has been ignored

Please note that I do not claim that child sexual abuse is not rampant in the entertainment industry. I do, however, believe that Corey Feldman is cynically attempting to ride the back of his dead friend Corey Haim to revive his now-nonexistent career, after having done nothing to save or even warn Haim of what they were going to do to him. Haim was that Hollywood rarity, he was an innocent. The sexual abuse ruined him, he fell into depression and substance abuse and just couldn’t crawl out of it. He was raped as a young teen with Feldman in the next room, according to Haim shortly before he died.

That is my problem with Corey Feldman.

I suspect you’re correct. The promises to spill the beans... in the future... if you give me money to ame a movie about it.... the attempt at regaining his pretty modest notoriety is shabby IMO

What planet are you guys from? I suggest you do more research on how pervasive and horrific child sex abuse has been in the movie industry since it started. Feldman was a child who was used and discarded. How about making sure you have all the facts before you start your character assassination?

These days Feldman is an attention addicted opportunist for sure. That we agree on. But at the time of Haim's abuse Feldman was a kid too. How is he supposed to know that his pal was going to be raped by the adults their parents left them with, much less warn him somehow and prevent it? Unless he was raped first but then, if so, then he's a victim too and probably not prone to talk about it with others. I can't blame Feldman for what happened to Cory Haim.

You read me wrong: I don’t doubt your point for a minute. Hollywood is a chess pit. My point is that Feldman just needs to put or shut up.

Yeah, it was a kids’ movie, 52 year olds are not the target audience.

Remember that little girl from Poltergeist?

You know, the one who died of a “fever”?

She died due to complications due to a ruptured bowel after several movie executives raped her.

Not many folks know this.

Feldman introduced Haim to his rapist(s). He knew. Haim always got the leads when they were cast together. Feldman resented that.

He was great in that and Stand By Me was one of Stephen King’s better offerings.

Another great Stephen King story is Mr Dolan’s Cadillac(not the movie! The short story)

I didn’t know that. Stupid question: If she died that way why wasn’t something done then like exposure, charges, etc.? Were they (Hollywood) that powerful back then? Wouldn’t that have been in the ‘80s (just guessing)?
