He needs a lawyer who is willing and able to fight the press in public.

He has not terrorized anyone. His only real victim is Flynn and Trump may need to eventually issue a pardon. The rest of his investigation is a joke. Russian internet trolls? LOL. Manafort and Gates? Expendable and indicted for previous wrong-doing, nothing to do with Russia. Papadop? Expendable.

I have to agree with Dowd’s decision to resign due to Trump not taking his advice to stay the hell away from that criminal Mueller and his gang of Clintoon shysters. Talking to Mueller is the worst mistake President Trump can make. Mueller does not have jacksh*t on Trump and is looking for anything to “indict” him. Anything. The commie ‘RATS have even moved on to porn stars, hookers and centerfolds in hopes of bringing down President Trump. They know Mueller isn’t going to find anything to do it for them.
Reading through this thread, FReepers are using words like “vendetta”, “terrorize”, “lynch” to describe Mueller’s failed probe.

The lawyer is probably resigning out of boredom because the case is not challenging enough.
Exactly. As someone once observed, you don’t need more than one tomcat in the barn. Sekulow is an excellent lawyer, but he’s more of a mouthpiece for the Trump team. Di Genova is a true heavy hitter who’s not afraid to go toe-to-toe with Mueller. And there’s a bonus: his wife, the equally talented Victoria Toensing, is the attorney for the FBI whistleblower who gathered all the dirt on the Uranium One deal—while Mueller was leading the agency.
Mueller’s pristine image could really get tarnished in a hurry, and Joe Di Genova has the acumen (and info) to do just that.
Now, if “stealth” attorney general Jeff Sessions would just appoint a second special counsel, the whistle blower could help make the uranium deal the initial focus of that probe, and Mueller would have to wrap up his investigation (or hand it off to someone else), because a deep dive into his activities related to that scandal could leave Bobby in a precarious legal position.
Yeppers.... Any lawyers Trump picks must be able to stand against the scrutiny that the meda will bring to bare... That's probably a difficult job for most lawyers.. :)
