One day after Orange County supervisors voted to spend more than $70 million to house the homeless, residents in three prosperous cities expressed alarm about a proposal to set up "camp" shelters in their communities.
Besides creating permanent housing, the officials' plans call for possible camps in Irvine, Laguna Niguel and Huntington Beach on county-owned land. The Irvine City Council voted unanimously late Tuesday to sue the county to stop the proposal.

All homeless head to Orange County , FREE STUFF
“You vote Democratic now pay the consequences.”
Irvine, Laguna Niguel, and Huntington Beach are largely conservative areas and hold a supermajority in the Irvine City Council.
Sounds like somebody needs some Walls.
Excellent!
“How I learned to stop worrying and love the turd.”
Human waste sewage, open and reeking, will become their new friend.
“Ultra-liberal Mountain View, California has many permanent RVs parked on major thoroughfares with people living in them. “
And right next door in Palo Alto, the $hit box RVs and trailers line El Camino Real on its western curb that adjoins the front of the Stanford University Property. Leland Stanford would be so proud seeing how the land he donated to build the university is being “utilized.” It’s literally a mile long, and most have out of state plates.
Facts dont matter to the hate Cali crowd, which is a supermajority of Free Republic.
That's right !
One way ticket to Honolulu. Easy peasy.
“Once they disarm us, the individual homeowner will be forced to house them in violation of the Constitution.”
And they’ll do it, one GVRO-ordered SWAT raid at a time in California. The confiscation squad has a leader with a name.
If the shelters are too far away, bums won't be able to get to the prime begging sites or liquor stores, and they'll move back to doorways in the cities.
It's been tried before.
I’m with you - move the homeless to Hollywood or Sacramento... let those idiots live with the consequences of THEIR stupid choices.
While they’re at it, round up the illegals and put them in Hollywood, Sacramento AND Washington DC’s ‘wealthiest counties’ in the United States - those clustered around DC.
Maybe the assh*les in the Deep State would enjoy some new neighbors... some of the people they foist on the rest of us.
A lot of Hollywood is actually a garbage heap. Homeless on the corner of Hollywood and Vine, etc. I should add Pacific Palisades and Malibu to the Bel Air/Beverly Hills/Brentwood triumvirate while Im at it........those Rich Democrats have the money to back up their empty sympathies for the lesser people.
I think I have a solution to this problem.
1. Get rid of the illegal immigrants
2. Put the homeless to work in the fields
I’m MORE than willing to have my taxes raised so ‘the people’ can buy a few mansion in Hollywood and DC’s elite neighborhoods ... Then tear ‘em down and put up five story buildings filled with crazy homeless and criminal illegals.
Would ‘elites’ then notice what they’ve done to our communities? I suspect they would start looking for real solutions if it impacts their lives.
These same ‘elites’ will push these people on us for the sake of cheap labor and evil forever if it doesn’t touch them. It’s time to PUSH BACK.
Whatever it cost...
1. Get rid of the illegal immigrants
2. Put the homeless to work in the fields
LOL - if we did this 90% of the 'homeless' would get jobs AND those who were too mentally ill to work could be placed in safe institutions (paid for with the extra tax money generated by the 90% now working...) YOU might be on to something there Andy...

Irvine homeless camp?
Too funny!
Well, if we collectively had a clue (which we don't) we'd put those freaks in "nut houses"...same with potential mass murderers.
