Donald Trump, the Very Stable Genius Psychiatrist
American Thinker.com ^ | March 18, 2018 | Deborah C. Tyler

After President Trump posted the tweets shown below, the vast Trump vilification cosmos predictably sprang into outraged armchair psychiatry, citing the tweets as evidence that the 25th Amendment must be immediately invoked to remove Trump – a madman using insults to forge a path to nuclear Armageddon.

But a funny thing happened just weeks later – and it was not nuclear Armageddon. Dear Leader Un arranged for the two Korean Olympic teams to march together in the imminent opening Olympic ceremony. Even the New York Times called that decision "[t]he most dramatic gesture of reconciliation between them [North and South Korea] in a decade." And shortly after that, Kim Jong-un shocked the world by inviting President Trump to talk with him face to face. Presumably, in that encounter, he will remove his Rocket Man suit and wear normal clothes.

President Trump says he will talk to anyone, that he will build a relationship with anyone from the humblest humanitarian to the cruelest dictator. While he did not study in a psychoanalytic institute, and the terms about to be discussed may well be unfamiliar to him, Trump's tweets masterfully employ communication techniques that are foundational to modern psychoanalysis.

I see it this way - when JPII and Reagan were outsmarting the Soviets, they did so because they both completely understood all them Ruskies.

The difference with Trump is that he has had to deal with the mafia all his professional life, he knows when to bite the cannoli and when to leave it on the plate.

Kim Jung Il is just a short, fat mafioso.

Kims been kinda quiet lately, the scuttlebutt is he is in back channel negotiations so Kim can save face.

Whatever is going on, Trump shut him down.. for now.

That tweet from Trump about how his nuclear button is bigger, more powerful, and actually works is perhaps the funniest thing I think I ever heard a President say!

I’m not sure anyone ever talked back to Kim before Trump. It was probably a shocking experience.

I also note the rumor that North Korea’s nuclear program was crippled by a kinetic weapon (*cough* rods from God *cough*) which the US dropped on their research tunnels, killing everyone working on the program.

Talking back, followed by a brutal slap in the face, followed by quiet backdoor negotiations so that Kim can save face.

It seems to have made him amenable.

It’s not psychiatry. It’s common sense which has been lost by most politicians.

Jong Un's sister is a white hat. If anyone ever seen the movie "The Interview," this is how it's exactly being played out.

Yeah, I know it starred lefties Franco and Seth, but it is an excellent movie. Hilarious too.

When guys from Silicon Valley went over to supply Kim with the ability to watch cable TV, I am sure that he felt wonderful at how CNN and all kept dumping on Trump.

Then Trump calls him "Rocket Man" and stuff. I remember hearing about how shocked all the Norks were because over there yah see a portrait or a statue of any of the Kim's and people must bow to them.

And here you have someone really dissing their leader. UNHEARD OF!!

Ha, Ha, Ha.

My favorite was when he was asked how he could negotiate with an unpredictable madman, Donald replied, "That's Rocket Man's problem, not mine."

Future historians will regard Donald Trump as one of the greatest presidents of the United States of America. People will say, when asked to name the greatest presidents: “Washington, Trump, and Lincoln”.

George Washington made America, Abraham Lincoln preserved America, and Donald Trump Restored America and Made America Great Again.

In October, a tunnel collapsed at the N. Korean nuclear test site. At least 200 people were killed.

My theory is that this was no "accident" and that it was much more than just a tunnel collapse. It's just a theory on my part but I think that our military carried out a devastating attack on the nuclear test site to show Kim what we were capable of.

I think the N. Korean's squeezed off one last missile test after that but there has been nothing since.

Don't forget that Trump made an Asian trip in early November. So the October timeline makes sense - we wanted to remove any imminent threat while POTUS was over there.

That would explain better Trump's provocative tweets to N. Korea in November and January. Knowing that the N. Koreans posed no further immediate nuclear threat, Trump was not risking much with those tweets and if you read between the lines, he was basically challenging them to come to the table and work things out before things got to the next level.

It’s always been simple, really. When we recede in fear from possibilities of nuclear wear, foreign enemies build up their nuclear forces more rapidly. They want to expand and occupy more ground and more people. Communist and fascist nations are insatiable and often encouraged by what they perceive as fear.

It’s much like the various reactions that either encourage or inhibit schoolyard bullies. Bully nations are similar to the schoolyard bully in some ways and are not like us in some ways in their thought patterns.

I was thinking the same thing, trump has had to dal with the NY mafia his entire life. Ya don’t think he knows a thing or two? For sure he too has insiders within the FBI that are moles for him. He is playing them.
