John Brennan reacted to the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe by tweeting a strident attack against Trump:

When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America...America will triumph over you.
The president’s critics seems to like Brennan’s tweet. It confirmed what Trump has been saying all along: that the senior leadership of the intelligence and federal law enforcement services had become highly politicized.
That impression was only reinforced further by a tweet from former UN Ambassador Samantha Power — whose full role in “unmasking” Americans who appeared in foreign intelligence wiretaps has yet to be exposed:

Power’s warning echoes that of Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY), who warned Trump last January — in the midst of heavy leaks to the media by the FBI and intelligence services: “You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”
For these Democrats, it seemed natural to threaten the president with retaliation by the intelligence community. They showed no concern for the abuse of power that might entail.
In his own statement upon being fired, McCabe blasted the president for having “politicized” law enforcement, accusing him of trying “to taint the FBI, law enforcement, and intelligence professionals more generally.”
Brennan’s public comments, McCabe’s leaks, and the whole sorry saga of Hillary Clinton’s non-investigation suggest that the politicization happened long before.

Given her own role in “unmasking” American citizens. that revision may be less than convincing.
President Trump , it’s time to play smash-mouth . Take them all out . No quarter . Call on ‘us’ , we will help you .
It’s like they want to attack then backtrack because they think that will help them. NOT!
Brennan has prove Trump to be right. He sure exposed himself. He is a desperate man.
This witch Samantha Power needs to be thoroughly exposed and prosecuted. Not only did she “unmask” hundreds of names from secret FISA surveillance, but no one seems to be asking WHAT DID SHE AND THE OBAMA TEAM DO WITH ALL THAT SENSITIVE INFO ON US CITIZENS???
i.e., it is not only the “unmasking” that is outrageous abuse of authority, but (presumably) they gathered a great deal of private personal info about US citizens involved in those hundreds of requests.... what became of that info and how was it used?

This guy sounds like the evil totalitarin villain in a old Flash Gordon film.
What this bastard Brennan is doing is absolutely unprecedented - and dangerous.
He’s spook and bureaucrat who never had a to face public scrutiny, questioning or election, yet he feels it is his right, as head of America’s powerful intelligence agency, to meddle in Presidential politics.
The tone of Brennan’s remark was ominous. It reminded me of Bresznev banging his shoe on a desk while yelling at JFK;
“We Will Bury You!!”
Grown men acting like teenagers. Emotion on high alert... sessions made them mad and they are taking it out on our President! They are not used to being run over by a Trump Truck.. and not taking it well at all... if they could, they would.......
They are not used to a ‘nobody’ being higher on the pole.. and standing through all their attacks and threats!
