STATEMENT BY FORMER IG MICHAEL R. BROMWICH

I have been involved in Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) disciplinary matters since 1994. I have never before seen the type of rush to judgment – and rush to summary punishment – that we have witnessed in this case. The result of this deplorable rush to judgment is to terminate Mr. McCabe before his long-anticipated retirement and deny him of the full pension and retirement benefits he would have otherwise earned through his 21 years of devoted service to the FBI and this country. This is simply not the way such matters are generally handled in the DOJ or the FBI.

It is deeply disturbing.

It’s patently false. When Sessions came on board, there was no Mueller witch hunt feeding daily media hysteria, no ex CIA & FBI officials defiantly bashing Trump, no scandals of DOJ obstructing congressional committees document requests, no news of FBI agents texting anti-president messages and still in the agency. When Sessions came on board, bureaucrats still feared the executive power and faced consequences for not towing the line. When Sessions came on board, there were no leak and bureaucrats kept tight lips.
The least Sessions could have done would be to fire a whole bunch of holdovers and keep his troops in line, like Holder or Lynch.
But there is no such thing, with Sessions, we have a messy circus. Grassley, Nunnes, Jordan, etc are those with much more infos than any of us and they have said Sessions is a disaster, so between them and the Sessions fanboys and their tired excuses, choosing whom to believe is an easy choice.

I understand that McCabe is worth 11 million dollars even without the pension, and that he’ll still get some sort of pension at age 57(even without the multiplier). So I don’t think he’ll be eating out of garbage cans anytime soon.

McCabe’s just pissed because of his public humiliation. Sessions gets a lot of criticism here in Freeperville but McCabe and other deep state players played Sessions for a fool and I think we have just seen an example of vengeance served cold!Not by Trump but by Sessions!(It has been suggested that Sessions was cited a wrong law when he was told that he should recuse himself...he may now know the truth and is now burning for revenge!)

None of those things are materially different. The media was warming up in their vendetta against Trump, but Trump had not yet fired Comey who was presiding over a mess and a leaky mess himself. The Mueller probe is a joke, not a mess. He has indicted a couple losers for past actions. indicted Flynn which is a travesty but easy to fix, and indicted Russian internet trolls! Indictments (other than Flynn) of zero consequence.

The texts that had not yet come out between the two unprofessional (to say the least) Trump-hating lovers were in existence, just hidden. They hadn't come out yet which makes no difference except to expose the corruption (a good thing). That mess was the same then and now. As for leaking and towing the line you are quite obviously wrong about that. The DOJ was leaking anti-Trump stuff via Trump haters like Sally Yates before Trump fired her butt. Obviously it was more messy with her around than with her gone.
