AP learns fired McCabe kept personal memos regarding Trump

WASHINGTON (AP) — Andrew McCabe, the onetime FBI deputy director long scorned by President Trump and just fired by the attorney general, kept personal memos regarding Trump that are similar to the notes compiled by dismissed FBI chief James Comey detailing interactions with him, The Associated Press has learned.

It was not immediately clear whether any of McCabe’s memos have been turned over to special counsel Robert Mueller, whose criminal investigation is examining Trump campaign ties to Russia and possible obstruction of justice, or been requested by Mueller.

McCabe’s memos include details of interactions with the president, among other topics, according to a person with direct knowledge of the situation who wasn’t authorized to discuss the memos publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

He and Comey could have been stenographers.

You would think if McCabe had anything worthwhile documented in any “memos” he kept, that he would have used them already to cooperate or bargain to keep his precious pension. The fact that he couldn’t (not didn’t), might be indicative of how much value those memos really have.

If rumors are true about what is in the IG report regarding McCabe & possibly Comey (tampering with 302’s), he’s looking at prison bars ... the pension is the least of his worries. Comey can be the Prison Philosopher since he is so in love with tweeting high falutin’ philosophical rubbish at Trump.

Someone else with FBI sources tweeted last night that a “ton of agents” are looking at what is going on with McCabe. Those that previously tried to blow the whistle on wrong doing were punished, careers destroyed, etc. It was “all about power” & McCabe was wielding it. The implication was that since McCabe was “handled correctly” & fired for what he did, other agents might feel like they would be given a fair shake if they came forth with information about how investigations, etc. were mishandled. Not good news for McCabe or The Cardinal (Comey).

Plus we alrady knew this. I took the transcript of Comey's tstimoney where he said he shared his "Trump misgivings" with his inner circle, to identify the circle of skunks. Of couse they met to keep their story straight. Band of thieves. McCabe's notes will be an accurate reflection of Comey's - big deal.

This bunch, plus Brennan and assorted others, are up to their eyeballs in attempting to direct the outcome of the election using the force of the government, and when that failed, to attempt to reverse the results of the election by continuing the same fabrications and frameups - with the help of the press, which lets us know that to wuestion the honesty or integrity of any of them is out of bounds.

Chutzpah on meth.

If they actually implicated Trump in anything actionable, they would already have been handed over.

MaCabe, in his rant last night, said his “director” knew about his talking to the media...yet Comey testified under oath last year that he never knew of or ok’ed anybody to talk about ANY investigations..ut oh..more lies.

They’re not his memos. Any documents he created that pertain to his position at the FBI, are property of the government, and can be subpoenaed as evidence in a court of law.

“”McCabe’s memos include details of interactions with the president””

It shouldn’t be too difficult to find out just how many personal interactions this creep had with the president. I wouldn’t think it was a common occurrence...but ain’t it going to be fun? Slime - pure slime!

I am so tired of hearing this “public service” nonsense. It they were all in government because of “public service”, they wouldn’t be taking a paycheck or a pension. That’s my opinion! We who work or have worked in the PRIVATE sector don’t ballyhoo our honor at working in “private service”, do we?

Between secret notes, Trump-bashing texts and Comey tweets, when the fu*k did these guys work?

><

They worked, alright. It shows what they concentrated on.

Only this bunch writes dear dairy entries and calls them official memos, only to nobody but themselves. Quietly into obscurity is not the voted out progressives way. They instead kick nd scream, drawing more predators while they are in a self created choke hold. The media gladly sells tickets.

Maybe he sent himself some Susan Rice type emails telling himself how he did everything by the book.

The constant nonsense is just wishful thinking by those on the left. I used to think it was the media trying to convince those that want to believe that there’s something “there” - the thing is, they actually believe their own lies as everyone around them is doing/saying the same.

><><

Very good points. For the left, the Truth is what they want it to be.

“”In other words he made up memos after the fact...””

Isn’t that what Susan Rice did by releasing fake emails?

So true, yet hilarious. If it weren’t real life, it would make a riotously funny sitcom.

I think these were the folks at the FBI who got all those warnings about the Florida school shooter. (On voice mails they had no time to hear . . . )
