Senior Kurdish officials on Friday evening say that Afrin’s hospital was hit by Turkish air strikes and that dozens of civilians were killed in heavy air strikes amidst reports that the Turkish army is closing in on Afrin, a Kurdish majority town.

“Afrin hospital was the only medical facility under service. It has been hit by 3 missiles. 15 bodies has been identified, many more are scattered all over the place. We are waiting for more details," Aldar Xelil, a senior Kurdish official told the Region.

“The Turkish army has bombarded the only hospital in Afrin, there are reports of at least 15 civilians killed, and many other wounded. So what law Turkey is working with? So what are the UN laws, so they are keeping silent, to these crimes committed by Turkey, this can be considered war crime,” Ilham Ahmed, another Kurdish official said on her official Twitter account.

According to Kurdish officials at least 47 civilians were killed in total on Friday, including 16 of them children and 14 women. Including 2 pregnant women, Abdulkarim Omer, a senior Kurdish official confirmed.

Sherwan Berry, the co-head of the Kurdish Red Crescent confirmed the hospital was bombed and told the Region in an exclusive interview that the situation is dire.

Clearly we witness history of Turkey repeating itself in another Massacre/Genocide, they have never admitted a single one, not ever.

From Turkey's own aerial photos which they use to try to deny the bombing. (irony)

And we look away. Erdogan seems to have a green light to eradicate the Kurds not only in South East Turkey, but also in Syria near the border with Turkey.

Erdogan is not our friend. He is a power-hungry Muslim who wants to rule the world and kill everyone who won’t play ball with him.

One of Obama’s best pals.

Erdogan is emulating Hitler. He treats Christians, Kurds, like Jews. I haven’t seen it in the press but I bet he treats Jews the same way Hitler did. Maybe the Kurds should seek an alliance. With Isreal.

Correct. Yes, Jews were massacred in Turkey along with Armenians, Greeks, Ezidi’s, Alevi’s, Kurds, Assyrians. There was an element of Kurds who were Jewish, 400,000 left Iraq and surrounding countries. Erdogan refers to them as Mountain Jews. Most of them went to Israel.

The relationship is in place. Both Saudi Arabia and Israel offered to recognize Kurdistan (what is KRG in Iraq now).

Yes, it is a natural tie. It is also why Erdogan the Islamist hates Kurds so much. Same with Iranian mullahs.

Are we flirting with Armageddon? No one knows. There appears to be some missing pieces for that to happen yet, but that could evaporate.

Isn’t there a way we can kick these SOBs out of NATO? They’re more harm than good to the organization now.
