As Republicans face a potential Democratic wave in this year's midterm elections, Republican Sen. Jeff Flake argued Thursday that his party "might not deserve to lead" given its support for President Donald Trump.
"If we are going to cloister ourselves in the alternative truth of an erratic leader, if we are going to refuse to live in a world that everyone else lives in ... then my party might not deserve to lead," the Arizona senator said in a speech at the National Press Club.

Yes, Jeff Flake has pissed me off for a long time, and I am glad to see that he is finally on his way out. I just hope Arpaio doesn't cause us to get saddled with the gal who has been referred to as the female version of Jeff Flake.

Arpaio is the best bet McSally has of getting the nomination. I loath her but I’m afraid the conservative vote will be split - just as the state party would like it. Once in, we would never get her out.
I would like to see his campaign literature for his first run for the Senate.
This happens so often I am beginning to think it is their go to plan to prevent conservatives from getting into government. If they think a conservative might win, they toss the race to the Democrat.

The lust for lucre and power is what makes men without standards part of the deep state. It takes them to the dark side. They no longer represent us but represent the dark side of the deep state. Jeff Flake knows the people now know what he is. He can not win his primary nor election. That is why he is not running.
He is naught but a putrid zit that has now been popped and is no longer of relevance.
If Mitch McConnell can't discipline this insubordinate piece of sh-t Jeff Flake, he should step down in favor of a GOP Senator who does have the cojones to do so.
Its getting to the point where I don't care if the GOP does lose control of the House or the Senate—or both—this November.
Let whoever has enough balls to lead do so. If that means the Democrats seize power in Congress, then fine—let them try to impeach this President. The result will be that both of these phony sh-thole parties will get flushed down the toilet, into the dustbin of history.

This Enemy will be known by the evil seeds which it sows, and by the evil fruits which it bears. Let Independents and Deplorables—the best of America—join President Donald J. Trump in draining the Swamp. Once that has been accomplished, the remnant will arise from the blood-soaked ashes of that violent process—and proceed with making America great again.
May God help us in our righteous cause. I no longer wish to avoid this conflict, if avoiding it means becoming a slave and losing the Republic of my youth. I hope that I may perform the services to my country for which God has assigned me. I pray in my heart of hearts that my fate will not be to become a slave of the Tyrannical Regime which the Enemy seeks to establish on this earth.
