Lamb vs. Saccone Special Election PA18
NY Times ^ | March 13, 2018

A thread to discuss the results.

I feel like Lamb has a lot of momentum, has run as a moderate, and has run a better campaign. I'll predict he'll win tonight (although I'd like to see Saccone win).

NYT does a good job with election results.

No money?

Hopefully the RNC is saving their money for midterms since this district might not even exists next time around?

But I’m tired of losing these special elections

“818 vote difference 96% in according to CNN”

Many of the districts left on the NYT map “should” be Saccone friendly, but it might not be enough. I saw a couple districts that didn’t report in Bethel Park (purple area in Allegheny County) and a few very solid red districts in Washington County (Peters Township ... great area :-)) ... I don’t think it’ll be enough though.

Something is at a standstill since numbers stopped being reported on the NYT site.

We just don't know the turnout numbers by precinct. These are projections. The voting totals in Washington and Westmoreland combined are more than equal to Allegheny.

That said, with 99% of Westmoreland reporting, it looks like a squeaker for Lamb. Lead less than a thousand now.

A lot of the precincts in Wash Co are Peters Twp; large counts leaning red.

Don't give up yet.
