With the mayor giving speeches out of town, Gov. Cuomo came to the Bronx Monday to visit a bug-infested city Housing Authority apartment that left him quietly furious.
“It is just shocking that in New York State we would have people subjected to these conditions,” he said after leaving the Jackson Houses apartment. “This situation we have seen is as upsetting and disturbing as I’ve seen anywhere and I’ve been in public housing across this country.”

Whether under socialism or private property, the bugs follow the food mess.
I know ofna guy in one of these apartments on full SSI disability, and the list of parasites attached to this one guy include a social worker, cook for daily meals, a maid, a therapist, a hospital/surgeon for gastric bypass surgery, and a car service to haul him to and fro. The number of mouths at the teat is mind boggling.
When you give people things they did not earn or pay for they take no responsibility or care of it, ITS NOT THIERS! they will complain bitch and moan on the conditions of these apartments and conditions they have to live in, demand that you do something about it and in almost all cases these conditions they have created themselves. DID THIS APARTMENT LOOK LIKE THIS WHEN YOU MOVED IN? is the question I have. The answer is no! Once again the despicable rat politician cares more for the free service provided than the people that get up every morning and go to work to pay for this as well as paying for their own existence. Much like the illegal immigrant cause they have embraced its not about us its about them

I see the inside of public housing and how people live in them. Despite many of these places being well built, with the highest quality materials, they are quickly turned squalid by the residents. Cuomo is not unaware of this dynamic. He’s just pretends it doesn’t exist. There are votes to buy.
Look at those pics—nobody should be living in an apartment in that condition. And if you are in an infested apartment building in NYC, it is virtually impossible to keep the bugs out of your own apartment. (Though it does look like they could use more tight containers in their cupboard.)
