Stormy Daniels and Ted Kennedy
Powerline ^ | March 10, 2018 | John Hinderaker

Worst case, Trump paid Stormy Daniels. But he didn’t kill her. That distinguishes him from the Liberal Lion of the Senate. If you want a scandal, and a cover-up that succeeded to a remarkable degree, look no further than Chappaquiddick. The Democratic Party conspired to cover up Ted Kennedy’s crime–manslaughter, in a particularly vile form–to preserve his political viability, at the cost of an innocent young woman’s life.

To this day, most people have no idea what the Chappaquiddick scandal was all about. That is how successful the Democrats’ cover-up has been. Most Americans assume that Kennedy was guilty of drunk driving and negligently causing the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. But the truth is much worse.

Several books have told the real story, but the movie Chappaquiddick may finally blow the lid off the Democrats’ cover-up. Based on the trailers, it apparently will tell the truth: that Ted Kennedy, after driving off a bridge into Poucha Pond, escaped from his car but made no attempt to save Miss Kopechne. That Kopechne didn’t drown, but eventually suffocated for lack of oxygen as she waited for Kennedy to rescue her. That Kopechne could have been saved if Kennedy had simply called the local rescue squad. That Kennedy was such a self-centered coward that he left Kopechne to die, concerned only for his own political future.

There have been more disgusting human beings than the Liberal Lion of the Senate, but Kennedy was very near the bottom of the scale. Yet he remained a hero to Democrats until the day he died, forty years after he killed Mary Jo Kopechne.

If I were Trump, every time a reporter tried to ask me about Daniels, I would respond by talking about Chappaquiddick.

Actually this is all wrong.

Forget the movie!

If you have been as interested in this case as I have been from the beginning, get Biil Pinney's Chappaquiddick Speaks. I'm only halfway through this apparently self-published book but already it has destroyed everything I thought I knew about the "accident".

I never believed that Kennedy was in the car. (He couldn't have escaped and I don't believe anyone ever claimed to have seen him wet.) But I always thought Mary Jo was, until now.

Pinney is a Chappaquiddick native who KNOWS all the players and some you've never heard of. He KNOWS things other Chappiquiddians talked about in hushed tones but not publicly because of Kennedy intimidation (aka Death Threats).

Bottom line: Chappaquiddick was a STAGED accident. NO ONE was in the car when it went off the bridge. It was accelerating on the bridge, not decelerating. He brings real physics (like F=ma! from an Australian Physics Professor. I also have a Physics Degree.) into the discussion. Some may be too technical for some but it's real nonetheless. Mary Jo was already dead (or dying, I need to read on or reread) when she was inserted into the car.

Game. Set, Match !

Worst case, for the MSM and NeverTrumpers, Trump didn’t have a thing to do with Stormy Daniels.

We’ve been to Edgartown many, many times and have taken the little ferry over to Chappaquiddick. I’ve always found it hard to believe that Kennedy managed to swim, in the dead of night, from Chappaquiddick over to Edgartown. It’s a very busy harbor and there’s a good chance a boat could run right over you.

I always found the now-defunct site ytedk.com useful. Fortunately the Wayback Machine has it.

I don't believe this whole affair, but if true, what was DJT thinking? Most guys I know wouldn't get within 5 feet of something with that many miles on it.

Gross. Just gross. But I still don't believe it.

Lion of the Senate?

Sot of the Senate is far more accurate.

Look up Mimi Alford...

The MSM are nothing but well-paid shyster lawyers for the demonrat party(protect their client at any cost, destroy their opponents...again, at any cost)...do it all under a cloak of protection/credibility called "freedom of the press".

...only now, thanks to competition from social media, and a President who's not afraid to call a spade a spade...they are being called out on it, and now(for the first time)THEY are on the defensive.

Bad for them...good for America.

Their(self-induced)"journalistic integrity" constipation for 8 years under Obama has proven itself with their now uncontrollable "journalistic" volcanic diarrhea of hate directed at Trump.

If America ever awakens from the deep-sleep it's been put in(in part BY this corrupt media)...they(MSM/academia)will be chastised out of existence.

...again, bad for them, good for America.

Make it so.

No-makeup versions of women are always dowdy. You can't fault Trump for finding her attractive. She's also very built. "What was he thinking?" Well, he wasn't. He's had affairs his whole life. He never claimed he was a virtuous Pence type.

I'm afraid that you need to get used to the idea that the President had an affair with her back in the day. Otherwise why would Cohen have paid her off? We knew Trump wasn't a boy scout. We voted for him to save the country, not be a moral leader.
