Facebook has admitted it was a “mistake” to ask users whether paedophiles requesting sexual pictures from children should be allowed on its website.
On Sunday, the social network ran a survey for some users asking how they thought the company should handle grooming behaviour. “There are a wide range of topics and behaviours that appear on Facebook,” one question began. “In thinking about an ideal world where you could set Facebook’s policies, how would you handle the following: a private message in which an adult man asks a 14-year-old girl for sexual pictures.”

I've had a FB account for 15 years or so now just so I can access a high school reunion group that is closed to everyone but members of our class.
I have no Timeline, no About, no Friends, no Photos, NO NOTHING on the page. My age is set at being born in 1905, making me 113 years old. Even my profile photo is the default image FB starts you out with.
All of my settings are set to private. I never post anything to my page and neither do others. Basically, I don't want to interact with others on FB and don't want them to engage with me.
I've had a few former classmates over the years send me emails wanting to know why they can't "Friend" me so we can chat and exchange information. I tell them the email works just fine for the same thing. Why do it on FB for the whole world to know your business?
So for over 15 years now, no one has ever bothered me or shown an interest in my page, including Facebook.
But it allows me to see what my former high school chums are up to without getting "involved".
Proggies have pooh poohed ‘the slippery slope’ from same sex marriage to polygamy to child marriage to incest to beast martiage. They put out the same line about civil unions not leading to gay marriage.
This Sodomite cancer is now systemic and metasticizing, requiring extreme and invasive measures to cure. Or, our once-great America succumbs.

Actually, I think that should be permitted - and the messages should all be forwarded to the FBI or to a responsible law enforcement agency. It would be nice to lock those perverts up.
