This one paragraph by Brooks is misleading, a mendacious propaganda bit of opinion and dangerous. Have I misread this?

Two things have fundamentally changed the landscape. First, over the past two years conservatives have self-marginalized. In supporting Donald Trump they have tied themselves to a man whose racial prejudices, sexual behavior and personal morality put him beyond the pale of decent society.

Look, I voted for Trump and, grateful for the achievements of his productive first year, would vote for him a dozen times more, but I do think Trump has an itchy Twitter finger and sometimes beclowns himself with his middle-school personal insults.

That doesn't make me a "Trumop hater" and I don't think that would make anybody a Trump-hater.

Unless "hate" is now going to apply to any noticeable difference in style or substance.

The all-purpose "hate" labels is about worn out. I save it for the people who are not just annoying, but actually hateful.

You don't even realize how wrong it is for you to say our President "beclowns himself."

It is inspiring to have finally a President that doesn't roll over and play dead when the globalist cabal with its complicit media attacks. Your lefthanded two-faced support doesn't impress me much.
