This is not amusing even as a negotiating strategy from the President.

This stunt alone could very well cost him and us one or both chambers of Congress this year.

I think Trump is great and I am so pleased overall with the job he is doing.
Don’t want any of the Bill if Rigjts compromised. It is insane that anyone can do it, since they’re part of our Constitution. But they somehow manage.
That said I vote for the lesser of two evils - every election. Trump was so miles ahead of the other candidate it took no thought whatsoever. I imagine in 2020 it will be the same. We’ll see.

Here in Pennsylvania I watched Pat Toomey do the game of supporting gun laws.
It was so strange to watch President Trump try to disagree with Toomey on the basis that Toomey was bowing down to the NRA the other day.
When Trump signs a gun bill, get back to me.
I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now and see how this all plays out. But yes, if he ultimately supports this Dem AWB, I’ll no longer support him and if the GOP Congress joins in and doesn’t stop it, they definitely shouldn’t expect my vote, either.
He won’t wrong us in any serious way. Keep playing your part so that Trump can play the liberals!

E-mail is the ultimate useless gesture. Taking the time to write, address, and mail a letter shows more seriousness, not that anything will come of it, but it’s a louder voice.
