I voted for Trump in 16 and I've given to his 2020 campaign. But I had to send them an e-mail that the 2nd Amendment is a Red Line for me. I will not tolerate any Gun Control legislation, we have too much now that infringes on my God Given right! I wrote that if the President persists in supporting new Gun Control Legislation he will irrevocably lose my support for 2020! I will instead support someone else to receive the nomination. Telling that witch from Kalifornia to put in her Gun Ban was beyond the pale and intolerable! The problem in this country is not guns, but that the people refuse to retain the knowledge of God and God is giving them over to a depraved mind (Romans 1:28).

I wouldnt have given to his 2020 campaign at least until the end of 2019. He needs to earn reelection. Going all in on gun control would nulify his deserving reelection
Trump may be playing rope-a-dope on this issue.
I think the danger that Trump will tilt left, however, has always been there.
Any “Republican” who supports Gun Control is in the same category as Jeb Bush...........RINO! And no RINO deserves the nomination for office of the President in 2020. The GOP would have plenty of time to find a true Conservative who will defend the Constitution and Mr. Trump can run as an Independent for all I care. I hope it was just his mouth running off the rail, but the from the abundance of the heart the mouth doth speak!

Nice. So you’re good with doing away incrementally with the 2nd Amendment? The Constitution isn’t a “trick” or an “issue” it’s the fundamental bedrock of our democracy. When the leader of the supposed “Conservative” party makes statements that are antithetical to the Founder’s intent, that’s dangerous.
