This "story" is actually a series of Tweets between David Hogg, the new spokeswoman for the gun control movement, and Alex Jones, but it makes a pretty entertaining read.

It is likely that the people behind David Hogg and Cameron Kasky and others like them realize that they are losing the battle over gun control and related issues in the public forum. More and more information is coming out about failure of the system that was supposed to prevent incidents like Cruz’s bloody rampage at that school. Also the corruption and incompetence of that system (namely Sheriff Israel and his people) that not only failed to prevent the incident itself but also a great deal responsible for the high death toll likely could have been averted as well.
Hogg and his antics (with his public remarks, etc) are now a bad optic and that kind of a serious liability on their own now as well. Therefore I am not surprised he’d back out of a debate situation now.
