When crime statistics show far more people being kicked and beat to death, or stabbed to death, than are shot with rifles, and the news media is attacking rifles, something they said they would NEVER do 35 years ago, you know their ultimate goal is not to control rifles.
Banning guns won’t change it.
Besides that would really be hard to do and take years..

I admit to nitpicking but the gun grabbers have been going after guns for a longtime, even 35 years ago. They admitted in 1968 they were just getting started.
Oh. More drown in tubs? Then its okay that kids that were in school and never hurt anyone were murdered and their parents destroyed. Bury a kid, you might have a different view.

You have a problem with facts? These facts are not the cause of the death of the students and others in Florida. A lunatic that should have been in custody already killed them. If he did not have a rifle he would have used home made bombs. He was clued into many ways to destroy. So you need to quit attacking people here on FR and start blaming the person who killed these people.
FL has one of the highest rates of RR crossing deaths. Amtrak and CSX have blood on their hands!!! DO SOMETHING!!

Nope- it’s Zero percent- people aren’t allowed to own assault rifles- TRUE assault rifles- No murders were committed with TRUE assault rifles as far as i know

What’s needed is some old geezers going postal. If only someone on the shuffleboard court in Century Village would wip out their old M1 that they took home as a souvenier from the war, and start blasting over a scoring dispute, they’d have gun control at last, and Florida would be safe for...for...for a while until the next shooting.

it will be all emotions directed at the wrong cause and designed to deflect from who will be rightfully sued by the families.
This hot potato is being bounced away from local law enforcement and the FBI who had enough clues / interventions ( locally) to know this guy was mentally unstable.
If only we enforced half the laws already on the books.

The horror of it all because we all know that emotionally shocked 16 year old children must have their wishes obeyed as to what laws exist or not. DO IT NOW! (before the emotions are replaced with measured debate and thoughtfulness) Never let a good crisis go to waste.
