In a bizzare twist, a 17-year-old girl is being accused of formulating a plan to carjack her own father at gunpoint — with assistance from two males — over the weekend.
At first, authorities believed Susan Mize was just a victim.
The teen and her father reportedly were held at gunpoint shortly before midnight Saturday at an intersection in Spring, Texas, by two male suspects who demanded cash.
The suspects climbed into the vehicle and demanded the dad drive them to his home so they could obtain more money, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.
When the father arrived home, he quickly got out of the car and ran inside, locking the front door behind him. As the man dialed 911, the suspects released Mize and took off in the family's red Nissan.
They drove a few miles before ditching the car to flee on foot.
A 16-year-old boy was quickly caught and taken into custody at the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center. But his accomplice, who was believed to be armed, sparked a manhunt after disappearing in the woods. He remains at large, police say.
Deputies later arrested Mize after learning she allegedly came up with the scheme to steal from her dad. She was taken to Montgomery County Jail, where she reportedly is being held on $75,000 bond for aggravated robbery charges.

Reminds me of my father-in-law who grabbed his wife and put her between themselves and a snake. We still laugh about it on occasion. 8>)
He doesn’t exactly win ‘Dad of the Year’ - abandoning his own daughter to kidnappers (to the best of his knowledge) while running to save his own skin.
Looks like when she goes out for chicken she prefers the dark meat.
Children who love money more than their parents should be disowned for their betrayal. When the parent dies and the will is read, the disowned child should be bequeathed $5, so the judge knows the child was not inadvertently left out of the will.
It seems she was ALSO involved in setting up the armed robbery of a friend just hours before. She is a real piece of work, and future Femme Fatale.... lucky no one got killed this time!!

He said "Now that you can identify me I have to kill you but I like to know the names of my victims."
Turning to the woman he asked "What's you're name?"
"Beverly" she replied.
"Aww" he said. "That was my dear Momma's name. I can't kill you!"
Turning to the man he asked "What is yours" to which the man replied "Ralph, but my friends call me Beverly"
Wasn’t it Montgomery County them two teen girls got caught sticking up a string of convenience stores? Cute girls. I think they’re probably still inside.
Even if they were trying to pretend it was not a setup, it was probably pretty obvious. Just kids bein’ kids, eh?

Well my Daddy (RIP) quoted Dylan Thomas to me once, he said “home is where when you have to go there, they have to take you in.” This little girl don’ got no home no mo.
I think it’s the courts. Can’t do this, can’t do that, can’t detain, can’t arrest. We just accept it, well they COULDn”T have detained him, 48 hour hold, do we have a witness to enough crazinesss... but none of that went on.
Only solution is perimeter security. We are at war. Our schools have been designated as targets. harden them.

So some articles say it was her dad, some say it was her friend who was carjacked and robbed. We will have to wait for the real facts.
In any case, she sounds like both jailbait and femme fatale stereotypes!! Danger, danger, danger..... stay away from this chica.........
Sad, but some children simply do not like their parents, or are so self centered, they don’t care what kind of suffering the parent may be put through. This happens in reverse too.
In my opinion, there is something about this girl’s face that indicates she is very intelligent, and knew exactly what was being attempted.
No, she is not ‘sorry’, yes, she is somewhat annoyed at this unexpected inconvenience of being arrested and exposed.
She probably wrote the plan down in her journal or on Instagram account.
