Every "election meddling" thing the 13 Russian trolls did would have been perfectly legal if they had disclosed the source of money for ads, and maybe there is some FEC reporting regulation for expenditures.
Other foreign influences, and subversives in the country are a real problem. The effect these Russian trolls had is approximately zero. Heck, the Steele dossier and FBI meddling was more effective than these Russian trolls, and you can bet your bottom dollar the FBI action will not result in any criminal charge beyond a process (lying) crime.

The alleged crimes are FEC and FARA violations. Trolling is not a violation. The inditement is filled with gratuitous facts, facts that have NO BEARING on the alleged criminal conduct.

He is making a stupid point. The Dems would take the legalization of the 12 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country in a minute. Legalization means they can bring in their families thru chain migration. Robert Rector estimated that over 60 million more legal immigrants would come in in addition to those who received amnesty.
The Dreamer legislation was included in the 2006 Hagel-Martinez amnesty bill that passed the Senate. It was also in the 2007 McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill and the 2013 Gang of 8 amnesty bill that passed the Senate with 14 Rep senators voting for it. DACA is being pushed by the Dems as the camel's nose under the tent for a blanket amnesty for all illegals. They have taken the most sympathetic group in order to go on to the next step.
Trump has included a path to citizenship for the Dreamers in 12 to 15 years. But he has tied it to ending chain migration (going to a merit based system), eliminatng the Visa lottery program that brings in 50,000 legal permanent immigrants a year, and a Wall. Rush seems willing to grant amnesty with the only proviso that they can't vote for 15 years. It is total BS. The Dems want a clean vote on DACA period. They don't want the other parts of the Trump deal.
The Dems would jump at that deal and then use it as a political issue against the Reps saying that they were creating another class of citizens. Moreover, the courts would probably agree with them.
The Dems are transforming the electorate mainly thru legal immigration. They have been doing it for decades. CA is the perfect example. The US will have the current demographics of CA by 2050. Non-Hispanic whites, the Rep power base, comprise 63% of the population, down from 89% in 1970. They will be 50% in 2043.
Since 1990 over 35 million LEGAL permanent immigrants, equivalent the current population of Canada, have entered this country. 87% of them are minorities. Immigrants and minorities vote more than two to one Dem. They favor Big Government. They use the welfare system to a much greater degree than the native born.
By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities. Each cohort that turns 18 annually will be more minorities and more Dem than the previous one.
Yes the Dems want more immigrants because of how they vote. In 1970 there were 9.7 million foreign-born; today, it is less than one in 8, the highest in more than 100 years; and by 2023 it will be one in 7, the highest in our history. And the numbers will go even higher. It is LEGAL IMMIGRATION that is primarily driving these rapid demographic changes.
