Thanks for the information. There still should have been an ATF filing. I do not know what psychological or other LE information, if any, is reported to the ATF. I also note there are pictures of him brandishing handguns on social media. Who knows if they were his. There also is a question of how he came up with the bread to buy this not so inexpensive weapon. This was not likely a case where he got the weapon from his adopted father who died 10 years past.
Fire everyone.
Give lie detector tests to lower level agents. If they pass let them join Homeland Security for 2 years under probation.

Obama, a democRAT, politicized his agencies from the start of his administration go after his political opposition and to push his policies.
What's the first thing out of democRATS' mouths when there is a mass shooting? Everybody knows it: "Gun Control Now!"
Obama and Holder at DOJ sent guns across the Mexican border to be used against Americans to justify their gun control goals. At least one Border Patrol agent was murdered and many more people probably killed in Mexico with those guns. Obama covered the whole thing up when Holder got caught by claiming executive privilege.
So it is not a stretch, given how political the FBI became under Obama, for them to turn a blind eye to potential mass shooters to justify the Left's goal to take Americans' guns away from them.
Can it be proven?. I don't know. But it is pretty transparent how these guys worked to deceive the American people to get their Marxist agenda to come to pass. They were not bothered by breaking the law. A few hundred dead Americans was justified to attain their goal to disarm the American public.
For a start, get rid of 98% 99.99% of the lawyers in the FBI.

One of the many things that now cloud the judgement of our federal and state/local governments. If you remember the Navy Yard shooter had mental health issues, but none of it was officially noted in records even when he was discharged from the military. Seems people did not want to "ruin his life" over it.
You’re welcome. And you make a good point. Any negative information about the kid would have shown up in the NICS check required for the purchase of any firearm by anyone at a gun store (FFL). But the info has to be reported to law authorities to make it into the database. NICS checks are not required for private-party sales but according to the news reports he bought the rifle at a gun store. As for the cost of the AR-15, S&W sells a Sporter mode for <$600.00. Still a lot of money for a 19 yo, but doable.
From all I’ve read his mother was a sweet woman.
Where is his brother? That’s what I’m curious about.
