I understand she is in pain but there is no reason for this level of stupid. Pain does not make you stupid.
Not only does the 2nd amendment have nothing to do with hunting, more people have been killed through speech than private ownership of guns. By her logic, we should remove speech as a right.
Sadly yes. Another example of our failed education system. The second amendment isn’t about hunting and having Bambi for dinner..even though that is a valid reason to possess a gun. It is about the citizenry having the means to defend itself against a tryrannical government, which incidentally is why the government doesn’t want us to have guns.
Prevent school shootings by bringing God back into schools, teach kids the commandments, teach them about God’s love for all his children even and especially those that are challenged with difficult circumstances. Teach what it means to have moral courage when faced with the evil of relativism. Teach them a classic Christian based curriculum that enables them to understand that all lives have value.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans die to secure FREEDOM...but now we must give it up for your niece? Not in MY lifetime

That would be very good. Allowing teachers and staff to be armed and trained would also be good.
He is the sad result of the Godless culture in which we live... what Florida and every other state has done is to take God out of our schools...What if he had been taught that God loves him despite all his flaws, that humans can and do say and do terrible things, but that God will always love him.
If her daughter had indeed been kind to the loser loner shooter, then she would have indeed been an unusual teen.

It doesn’t seem that complex at all. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. All are doomed but for the redemption made possible by Jesus Christ. Some avail themselves of it, some do not. I’m not sure what this has to do with the current thread of discussion though.
