How long does it typically take to enforce a death penalty sentence? 20 years?

Justice delayed is justice denied.

So many were calling for gun control yesterday , but missed calls for death penalty or mentioning strong punishment alternative for using a gun in a crime.

Other than in Texas, a Death Penalty conviction means the guy will outlive us all. And will live behind bars better than 90% of all other criminals.

Yes in Florida if you kill us we will kill you back. Of course people up here in the panhandle are pretty peaceful.

If convicted and not found insane.
If some liberal judge doesn’t stop it.
If, if if.
And then it will take maybe 15 or 20 years.
He is guilty and should be hung in public and televised.

My son (high school junior) is telling me that the talk at his school is that the MAGA hat photos are photoshopped and put up minutes after he was ID’d, and the Cruz kid is a DACA dreamer. That’s the word going around his school....

Could face or should face ?

The real question is will he actually be executed in a timely manner.

Answer....it will be 2038 before he gets the needle, if ever.

Usually in shootings like this there are dozens of injured. I have yet to see a report of injured or stories of those injured in the shooting (i.e. taken to hospitals)! Does anyone else thing this bizarre?

Nikolas Cruz will still be stealing oxygen at taxpayers’ expense a decade from now. As long as he lives he can serve the radical leftists as the poster boy for gun control and abolishing the Second Amendment.

Try him in 30 days, sentence him in 2 weeks, execute him 30 days later.....

Oh, yeah - it will be appealed for 10 years........so much for swift justice......
