Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said Tuesday night that members of his party won’t revise their countermemo, despite requests from the White House to do so.
“We’re not going to make any revisions to it. The only question is what redactions will be made. And obviously we’d like to keep those to a minimum,” Schiff told reporters.
“The White House has a different interest. I think their interest is in redacting anything that doesn’t reflect well on the White House,” Schiff added.

Trump should have the FBI redact the Memo as they see fit and release it. When “Shifty Schiff” complains, tell him to take his complainants to the FBI.
By the time their little memo gets released, Nunes or Grassley will have another one of their own ready to go that will negate everything in Schiffs.
Nunes is itching to get something out there, but trying to stay within the rules with it.
One could tell that from his interview with Maria Bartiromo over the weekend.

Methinks the Dems purposely crafted their “memo” so it could not be released, thus giving thier press department (ABC, CBS, CNN, PBS, NBC, Univision, The New York Times, The Washington Post, AP, and Reuters ) free reign to makeup whatever is needed to make Trump look like a criminal instead of them ...

Basically Schiff wants to put Trump on trial with his memo, not defend the shady warrant obtained by the FBI. He'll say he's defending the warrant but he's not (he's a liar). The warrant, according to Grassley/Graham has just the Steele dossier and one planted news article as evidence. Probably also contains sone textual matter mentioning the other players and stuff, but not as evidence, but "context". They have used the word "context" before.
Context is just claims and innuendo, not evidence. But it seems likely the context here was used to justify a Trump Tower wiretap, not just Page.
It's likely that Rosenstein doesn't want this memo release since it exposes Mueller's case against Trump. I don't think he wants that exposure. He would much rather keep it all secret and hand down secret indictments.

I agree wholeheartedly. Release it as is, with the caveat that POTUS asked them to fix it, but they refused. Let the chips fall where they may.

The solution for Trump is simple: since the Dem memo is harmless, tell Schiff to go ahead and release it himself. Just allow a week for intel assets to get clear, but just allow a day or two to lose his security clearance - and maybe get the Orange Jump Suit March.
Just call his bluff and tell Schiff to release the damn thing if he dares, and let considerate and smart Americans have at it.
The “national security” excuse is overdone. Its been used as cover forever, particularly in the last 18 months, for some really vile, illegal and anti-constitutional things.
