the answer is, nothing will ever come of any of this. Hillary will get her statue and the hiwawatha award for greatest womaness and she’ll die a billionaire in her own bed

Thanks for posting. I’ve been listening to Rush talking about this, as well.

You beat me by 3 minutes. I asked the mods to delete my post.

Hanson’s theory— and throwing a bone to the idiot democrats showing them how get out of it still provide cover to their pals at the trough... the idiot bushie GOPe RINOs who can all rescue their “consultancy” game, and perpetuate the
“war on terror”.

the same war on terror which could have been shut down long ago, by destroying (mercilessly, extra legally and by the “bit stick” methodology of spec ops elimination of all leadership and all financing.) This being accomplished, at least on the surface for the time being by the Saudi coup eliminating the al-Waleed financing of the madrassahs. Real-politik.

Hanson in the no longer ‘conservative’ NRO— throws the dems a bone, which hopefully they won’t follow (they being as stupid as they are persistence), and can be used to destroy their party for good.

Dr. Hanson, you are on the right path but have the wrong conclusion. Both the Clinton knee-padders and the Obama sycophants will eventually lay the blame at Comey’s feet . . . and Comey, in all his whiny current editions, does not see it coming. He’ll be the fall guy and maybe then he’ll try to come clean, but it will be too late. Humpty Dumpty Comey can not be put back together again. And what a shame . . . he had it right all along if only he had the guts to be this generation’s Eliot Richardson and not play inside DC ball. If he had honestly prosecuted Hillary he would have gone down in history as THE honest man of this period in American history. Instead, he will be the legal version of Bill Buckner.

Rush read from a Victor Davis Hanson article, in which he says that “AG” Sessions needs to hire a bunch of aggressive, hard nosed prosecutors to go after the deep state, et al.

VDH is a smart guy, but he’s whistling for a dog that won’t hunt.

This is, now counting, the third consecutive monumental article penned by VDH.

At this rate, he is going to be a major player in restoring the Republic that was destroyed by the actions of the Clinton/Obama coup.

Sad that generations of youth in America are faced with what appears to be "a world without heroes" (George Roche book title), where neither side seems to be able to articulate a clear vision such as that contained in the nation's Declaration of Independence--which reminds us that no better statement of philosophy for a free society exists than is contained in that great document of the Year 1776, and implemented in the resulting structuring of a government, The Constitution of the United States . . . ."

A very apt description of Sessions

I have never before seen VDH focus for so long on the same issue from the same perspective. He has one of the most brilliant minds in America, and he is clearly appalled at the criminal conduct of America’s enemies on the Left. Bonus: he’s not getting over that reaction.

Thanks blam. Exactly so -- they believed their own propaganda mills (NY Slimes and their media echo) and thought there'd be no prosecution because Hitlery was going to win by up to 16 points, at which point the lawfare against Americans would increase.

The rule of law and equal justice is dead in America until proven otherwise. The Founders would be throwing ropes by now.

Sessions is not picking up the white courtesy phone.

Imagine there was a left wing conspiracy to destroy a Republican candidate in a presidential election. Imagine that, failing that, the conspirators attempted to use the vast powers of the federal government to knee cap that candidate after he won the election. Imagine that their ultimate goal was to remove the new president through impeachment, to stymie the will of The People, and to protect themselves from discovery and eventual punishment.

What would be one of the most effective first strike measures they could take to accomplish those ends?

Of course, you'd move quickly to seize control of the chief federal agency tasked with investigations and law enforcement - the DOJ.

That would most easily be accomplished by seizing control of the chief executive of that agency through blackmail and threat of physical harm.

Having seized control of the AG, you would order him to stand down (recuse himself) from any and all investigations involving the plot, and force him to appoint one of your hand picked co-conspirators to run the investigations involving the plot. Such a person could also open new investigations into the new president - aka, a witch hunt.

Meanwhile, you would not allow the AG to resign, thus rendering the office of AG inert, immobile, and disarmed.

That's exactly what the plotters of a government coup would do, if they were playing for keeps. Now ask yourself if that's not exactly what we're witnessing.
