A week after he won the election, President Trump promised that his administration would round up millions of immigrant gang members and drug dealers. And after he took office, arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers surged 40 percent.
Officials at the agency commonly known as ICE praise Trump for putting teeth back into immigration enforcement, and they say their agency continues to prioritize national security threats and violent criminals, much as the Obama administration did.
But as ICE officers get wider latitude to determine whom they detain, the biggest jump in arrests has been of immigrants with no criminal convictions.

They lie by omission of the word “illegal”.
It started under Bush and got worse under Obama. If you hit a house for a warrant, you were only allowed to take the target, not any other illegals there. There’s a new sheriff in town. Now you hit a house and you take the targets and any illegals you find. Still only going after illegals committing extra crimes, but all their illegal friends and family get rounded up too.
Do they all get deported?
Yes, unless they can come up with some refugee claim. Most take voluntary because they are afraid of having a criminal charge added.
That is awesome! Enough of these and some will start self departing out of fear. That’s the way it should be.

Sanctuary cities, and California, are denying ICE. access to criminal aliens. So ICE keeps busy grabbing who they can.
Saw a story this morning ICE arrested 1 at a detention hearing. ROFLOL
Look for more sob stories like the 1 with the guy with 5 kids, 1 being treated for Lukemia.
