Having lived in and worked with Ethic Russians for an extended period of my life - this in the ruins of the old Soviet, I can only speak to my personal, on the ground experiences with the people and my observations of the culture of that part of the world.
I had no idea you are Russian ex-pat....
Putin reversed the long, arduous, but necessary spiritual and moral progress of his people who were climbing out of the rubble of the USSR. - Sadly, with help from the frauds who infiltrated the Orthodox Church, and the hardened hearts of average Russians as well: the Putin era has overseen Russians attempt to “rebuild” on the rubble and ashes without clearing way for solid, new foundations first.
You do realize Russia is at war with its brother Ukraine?
