Not really. Most of the things there you can buy a newer or better version for the same price at Walmart or online.
Buying there isnt even really a charity endeavor as the mission is garbage and the money gets wasted (perv support).
Much better deals that actually support charitable efforts can be found through St Vincent de Paul (Catholic community outreach), Bethesda (Lutheran community outreach), or Salvation Army. Look for local thrift store efforts for good deals, for example we have Manna for Life Ministries (I dont actually know whats going on behind the scenes here but they do seem to be putting their best “Christian” effort into supporting the community).
Good will is a lousy charity, but you can get high end stuff for pennies on the dollar.
$300 pair of Allan Edmonds shoes for $5
The $5 bucks does not go to charity, it goes in the coffers
Damn; I paid $10 for it. Goodwill is a rip-off.
I know a blind old black woman that has worked for good will for 27 years and never had a raise.
Charity my eye.
You can flip it on Ebay :)
Good idea.
re your tagline: Ruskies can write simple script files? Just damn!
Florida Man ping
for the record, last time I was in a goodwill store was in 1971, bought a short sleeve shirt for 25 cents.
Well shucks, that’s an everyday carry weapon in Idaho.
I saw some pink floyd t shirts there
Donation from a mosque’s overstock.
The Charity Thrifts in my town are bad. GW included. They take in countless treasures for free and have nothing but overpriced garbage on the shelves. The store managers are very protective of their honey holes. They would rather throw stuff in the trash than give a customer a deal.
12 ga shotgun, blank load, broom stick with Molotov doodah duct taped on the end... viola! hope that rag holds LOL
If David put a shiny thing with fins in his sling, they would jail him for unessecary force
Seriously I don’t understand gun phobia.
Folks do dangerous stuff daily.
Lemme strap the kid into the car seat over 25 ga of gasoline, head 75 mph down the road looking at my iPhone texting about how an airsoft toy scares me LOL
Indeed, it comes down to the locals.
It is what it is.
Woohoo! I doubled my money! I paid $4

The thrift store in Tampa Mrs Deplorable likes is Hope Thrift Store, which is the thrift store for Hope Children’s Home...
Oh, just some of dear ol’ Dad’s stuff, left in the basement....
“The employees at the other location said they sent it along because they didn’t know what it was.”
Really? Obviously, these folks didn’t watch enough Rambo movies while growing up.
There was that story of a “rocket launcher” found in a US river that turned out to be a rusting PIAT launcher. The bomb squad was called.
