Missed the whole thing. But pics of Nancy Pelosi sucking a lemon were priceless. That told me everything I needed to know: Trump had nothing but good to say about the State of the Union—which is a bitter pill for elected Democrats to swallow.
Compare: One rookie Republican representative gets called on the carpet by seniors in the party and compelled to apologize for telling the truth when he yelled “You lie!” during President Obama’s first SOTU.
For President Trump’s first SOTU, Pelosi sucks lemons, Waters purses her lips, Gutierrez storms out, and the CBC stares daggers.
Republicans should use all that in their re-election campaign material.
