OK= apparently the report was that Spanish speakers did evaluate his Spanish and found it...lacking
Maybe he spoke too much scotch or hung out too much with mary jane while he was in the DR

Being of that clan, he was probably ‘practicing’ something else on or in the maid or gardiner and speechifying had nothing to do with it.
He may know how to say “This is our little secret” in Spanish.
I thought his Spanish sounded stilted- like a non-speaker reading the words. He may be fluent but he certainly doesn’t sound like a person who speaks the language in a natural way.

And you wonder why many on the Left were stunned by 1) the petulant actions of the Democratic members of Congress during the State of the Union speech and 2) the horrible optics of the Democratic response by Joe Kennedy. This is a public-relations debacle of the highest order.

Perhaps Father Jonathon can help me understand why:
1) Mexicans that shop at (my employer’s) home improvement building supply store in “flyover country” predominately speak Spanish.
2) Lowes Stores have isle content signs in Spanish & English
3) ALL Banks / ATMs in my small town REQUIRE a manual keypad entry if you choose to conduct business in ENGLISH instead of a foreign language (Spanish).
4)When I attend 4th of July picnic in local small town, I see T-shirts with large letters on front with a Mexican flag:
“I am NOT Hispanic
I am NOT Latino
I am Mexican and proud of it!”
5) 22% of students at my children’s elementary school are “Limited English proficiency”.
The number has to be much larger than 11 million illegals based on what I see in small town In daily at home improvement stores, shopping, driving, public notice arrest & incident records.
My only conclusion is there must be an extremely large local population of non-citizen, non-English speaking people in my “flyover country” community - FAR more than the 11.1 million numbers publicly cited in the entire USA. Also, that many of them (like Muslims in immigration Jihad) have NO intention whatsoever of assimilation by adapting our culture, language, customs and gaining citizenship.
Kennedy really botched it big.....what an amazing failure. I listened to his entire speech and he never got out the gate.
We had a hard time figuring out WTH he was talking about. Extremely bad shoeing. But, dems.
No one under about 45-50 years old has ever even HEARD of the Kennedy’s or has any idea of their “dynasty”.
That said, I was pleased to see the Dems make another really stupid decision last night (several, actually).
Never let Joe give you a plane, boat or automobile ride.
Remember all of the photos of fatso Teddy in his swimming trunks and some of his paramours.
