And there is the problem with old, hippy activists “judges”. ALL “judges” need to be term limited. They should not be allowed to make the lives of Americans miserable for their entire lives on “da bench”.

Ginsburg only held off retirement when Obama was in office because she was sure Clinton would succeed him, and she wanted her replacement to be picked by the first woman president. Now I think she’s desperately trying to hold on until 2020 just to hand off to any Democrat, but if Trump is reelected I think she will have screwed the proverbial pooch.

I don’t think Kennedy is holding off because he thinks Trump will be reelected... quite the opposite most likely.
In the case of Ruth Buzzy, I’m just hoping she has a critical malfunction of the broom she rides on to work and suffers a fatal accident.
But, of course that would require a constitutional amendment, which is difficult at best, and even if you succeeded at that, it would take another 30 years or so to clear out the lifers appointed under the current system.

Bad news about Kennedy very bad. He has screwed us numerous times. It means he does not want Trump replacing him so we cannot count on him to back us in the avalanche of court challenges to every thing Trump does.
