Yesterday at the press briefing many reporters wondered where Trump was over the weekend, what was he doing, why wasn’t he engaged.
Scott Adams said this morning Trump did exactly what he wrote in his book many years ago - he walked away from the table and waited.
So many of these supposedly smart elites are pretty stupid.

Future historians will note that the United States was saved by Donald J. Trump with a Twitter account.
Historic would be nuclear option-- passing a conservative budget with funding for defense, the wall, and cuts to all social programs with no Dem votes. If we can get that, shutting the federal government down for six months would be a small price to pay.

There was no way to spin this any other way... even the MSM couldn’t paint this as a win for Dems....
Trump didn’t need to threaten Schumer....
Dems bought their own press, and had their echo chamber popped when they decided to act on it....
By the time the actual shutdown was about to start, they had so many polls showing Americans were overwhelmingly against it and blamed the dems, that they were looking for a way to backpedal even before it started.. but had to at least do it to try to save face with their “base” of illegal lovers.
The FISA memo is exactly what my first thought was when I saw how badly Trump skunked Schumer.
Trump didn’t tell all but just enough that Schumer left quickly and checked his Depends in the ride back to Capitol Hill
And, per Fox, stupid Chucky just pulled his offer to fund the wall - he’s gonna kill what’s left of the Dems trying to save face....
