This is the Dems’ way of trying to bring down the stock market and the economy. The best hope they have, politically.
Ditch the filibuster, and the matter is resolved. The GOP is fighting with itself.

The Dems are trying to get President Trump to legitimize DACA so they can say that he agrees with the DACA stunt pulled by Obama.

Dems are playing a very dangerous game. The world is a tinderbox with many potential flash points. If there is a milititary incident or confrontation somewhere during the shutdown the Dems are going to be staring at large losses in the next election.
Conflicts scare people. They want a strong military unemcumbered or weakened by political infighting. The Dems won’t have any cards to play if something suddenly happens. Just sayin...
how is it resolved when we have Graham, Lee, Flake, Paul and ill McCain?
The White House has to be patient a little while longer, so they don’t get portrayed as reactionary.
BUT you can be sure, as we speak, President Trump and McConnell are planning the next few days out very carefully, all with an eye to repealing the filibuster ... might not be needed, Dems might cooperate in the next few days, but more likely not.
So, give it till the end of the week, then McConnell goes nuclear - just simple majority votes from now on. No more Dem obstruction, no more Dems holding President Trump’s agenda hostage.
We got a majority, let’s freaking use it.
The dems our counting on their union buddies to make a stink,they can keep waiting,They backed a loser.
Let’s start a list of those bureaus, agencies, departments, divisions, offices, and commissions that should be shut down permanently (not refunded after the current Democrappic shut down)...
just leave them shut....
Here are a few suggestions to start the list...
IRS (replace with fair, flat, sales, or other tax that is easy to collect without 3 million Americans’ lives wasted to dealing with a complex and corrupted system)
DHS (we already have FBI and that was a highly controversial extension of federal power to begin with)
ATF (all three items are none of the government’s business to “regulate” and citizens’ rights to keep and bear F’s are constitutionally guaranteed to be “infringed”...so that the mere existence of the F part of ATF is an affront to this country...transfer all the nice employees to a legal and hopefully useful bureau)
Dept Education (none of the fed govt’s business, worthless at best and absolutely harmful or dangerous at worst)
Dept Energy (not needed, the free market can supply all the oil gas coal and etc we need)
CFPC or whatever its called, Warren’s favorite...worthless at best since it basically only rewrites the regulations of eight other agencies, also blatantly unconstitutional in its design (being statutorily unaccountable and thus even more dangerous than the average alphabet-soup agency)
EPA (scale it back to what’s really needed, some fraction of this agency probably is needed but I’d guess only 10 percent may be needed for the really significant pollutants, mostly this agency only restricts our rights while raising the cost of living for everybody)
...okay, this SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD list is now yours to augment.....

Before this last flurry of CR crappola I’d read that trump asked for 3.2 bil for 2018 wall funding and that Ryan/McConnell had agreed to 1.6 bil. Any idea what’s in the house CR that got rejected?
If I’m not mistaken, the messiah himself, barry soetero, said that all the DACA stuff was illegal. I don’t know the President personally, so I really don’t know his motives, and he has played these clowns like a fiddle.
It’s nice watching him toy with the Dem’s. They underestimated him and haven’t accepted or realized that he isn’t afraid of them.
In hindsight, he should have just let the State AGs sue, win and this would all be moot. But, then again, he’s exposing a whole host of these frauds for who they are and where their loyalties are, so that’s another plus.
Deport all Illegals ... ASAP!

At the moment, the Dems have no leverage as they don’t have the numbers and they don’t have public support. You’d think, given their reduced circumstances, they would at least try not to commit any unforced errors. But the extremes of their party want them to go to the mat and bleed for every little thing, even though that tactic causes unforced errors. But there is so much money at stake, as far as contributions, they seem inclined to put on the Kabuki show for the politically naïve but wealthy donors.
