That horse has already left the barn. You and I both know that King’s real background will never be publicized.

When you attend a Winston Churchill movie nowadays you receive a warning. When you have been assassinated while smoking with a warning label on your pack—”Caution: Cigarette smoking may be hazardous to your health”— something is amiss.

Mike King? Do you have a source on that?

I know he plagiarized and womanized.

A source on the beating up women too?

Thanks.

Okay, a quick google got me to his father having traveled to Germany, become inspired by Martin Luther, and then legally changed his and his five-year-old son’s name.

So correct, but not some sort of fraud that MLKJ pulled, as implied.

Oh, and it was indeed his legal name, given to him by his father.

Well, they were recently open on MLK day at probably triple wages.

This gives them the chanst to rest up deyselves on regular pay.

You got to wonder why locals don't step up to the plate and take over in cases like this. We had the state run historical site Bushy Run Battlefield which was going to close due to lack of state funding.

The local historical society and friends of the battlefield put together a grant to hire a coordinator (the only paid position) and keep the battlefield and museum open with volunteers. It did such a great job that six park rangers became no longer necessary and had to be transferred elsewhere.

There are a lot of retired people here in Pennsylvania interested in more than playing golf and bingo. And a lot of college students interested in getting meaningful, even if unpaid, internships. Exactly the combo you need to keep places like this open.
