Democrats are threatening to hold national security hostage, potentially costing the economy billions and forcing hundreds of thousands of federal government employees to go without pay in exchange for securing legal protections for 800,000 illegal immigrants.
Congress has three days to strike a deal to keep the government funded through October. If members fail to come to an agreement by Jan. 19, all “non-essential” government employees and active U.S. Military personnel will be working with out pay (including troops currently deployed). Funding for agencies like federal museums or national parks will also be cut off.
Congressional Democrats are apparently content with allowing military and law enforcement personnel to go without pay to secure protections and benefits for illegal immigrants and members of their extended families.

The left despises the armed forces. Holding up their paychecks will only strengthen their resolve.
It’s not the DACA recipients they want... it’s their children, and their relatives’ children. A couple generations of welfare-oriented and welfare-grateful votes. That’s why they are so against ending chain migration, and above all, birthright citizenship through willful misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment.
Isn’t it strange that the Dems, a party of self-centered narcissists, as a group plans long term for party interest? Even if, for the white members and leaders of that party, it will mean a much worse country for their grandchildren?
Is that what’s known as an “emergent phenomenon?”

They are lying about 800,000.
It will be 3-4 million at a minimum.
And then the pressure builds for amnesty for the rest.
National Parks not a big deal this time of year. And everyone is totally lazy at work Jan Feb & March....
Ship them ALL back. The blame is on their parents. Should have been reared in their home countries.

The military doesn’t get shut down in furloughs. They will get paid. They are part of the Essential government that is kept on and paid during these periods...
It has been the history of the DEMOCRAPS since the days of the Vietnam War, to crap on the heads of the active, retired, and disabled military, whenever they could use us as a “bargaining chip”, as they think we are some kind of union.
It has been the history of DEMOCRAPS to almost always find a means to “lose” all the absentee voting ballots of our men and women military overseas.
So, it does not surprise me that the DEMOCRAPS “do it again”.

You’re absolutely right. The DACA numbers are nothing compared to the immigrants incoming via the chain and birthright programs/laws/rules.
