Forcing the cartels to spend money on high tech ways of getting around the wall doesn’t sound like a gift... But then again these CNN fools are the same a-holes that think breaking windows stimulates the economy.
They will pay for Trump’s wall since it is so beneficial to them.

Really she chooses to use this example of how the drug smugglers are not using the Mexican border to smuggle drugs?
This is an example of how desperate they are to get their product in to the US.
These submarines (actually a low-profile boat) are disposable handmade boats that cost the smugglers at least $200K to make. The craft makes one trip and is scuttled after its one use. The boat is equipped with scuttle valves that the pilot opens to sink the boat if capture by the authorities is likely. The pilot is paid (from my reading) about $50K to pilot the boat to Florida.
So, she thinks that this demonstrates how the drug smugglers would rather spend this kind of money to get their product to the US rather than just pay human traffickers to have their cargo carry the drug trafficker’s cargo across the border.

We need to break free of the paradigm that if sonmeone’s mouth is moving on CNN that their brain is sending impulses to their vocal cords...
But somehow, in some magic way, they will not work for the US.
