Arab nations will push for recognition of “Palestine” with eastern Jerusalem as its capital following President Donald Trump’s recognition of the city as Israel’s capital last month.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Saturday met with Arab foreign ministers from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, the UAE and the Palestinian Authority as well as Arab League chief Ahmed Abul Gheit to discuss the status of Jerusalem.

Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres was negotiating with Yasser Arafat. Things had gone badly as Peres refused to state any objectives. Then, Peres tells this story from the bible. Moses goes swimming in the Jordan river. When he comes out his clothes are missing and he yells, “God Damn you Arabs!” Arafat said, “Ah, ha! There were no Arabs in the region at that time.” Peres says, “NOW, we can negotiate!”
Is Palestine even a recognized country? It appears to be an unorganized hodgepodge of various tribal interests, not even contiguous, with no unifying principle other than “drive the Jews into the sea”.
So what need have they of a “capital”?
Never been a Palestinian nation in existence in history.
It was just an area. Not a country or race.

Muhammad (or someone) copied the history and tenets of Judeao/Christianity, changed some names, dates and details, added some things (like forceful conversion of non-believers and the eternal subjugation of women) and called it a religion.

That’s my understanding too. There never, in all of recorded history, has been a nation of Palestine. So how can there be a capital? It’s just a bunch of loosely connected nomadic tribes. Disperse them back into the various regions and forget the whole issue.
This is just for show..and the response to Trump has only been lip service. Paliscum are hated by other Arabs.
