MADRID: More than 200 African migrants stormed over a high double fence between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla on Saturday (Jan 6), officials said, leaving some of them and a police officer injured.

... Spain is increasingly targeted by people desperate to reach Europe from Africa, with the number of migrants reaching the country in 2017 hitting a record high of nearly 22,900, according to EU border agency Frontex.

This was more than double the previous record set in 2016.

These North Africans cause the most trouble...

Failed asylum seekers blamed for rise in violent crime in Germany

Rejected asylum-seekers from countries considered safe were behind much of the rise, while genuine refugees from countries such as Syria and Iraq were more rarely involved, the study found.

The report’s authors have called on Angela Merkel’s government to do more to return economic migrants posing as asylum-seekers to their own countries.

Forgot about the enclave. I was thinking by doing that they would all drown.

Snipers!
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Land Mines

Drones

A10s

Huey Gun Ships

Piranha filled moats

Instead of killing all the ‘mean spirited’ pit bulls, put them between the fences, don’t feed them and every so often throw a captured border breaker over the razor wire to feed the dogs.

Won’t take long for the message to get out...

Most people don’t know this inconvenient truth and the lying MSM won’t tell it: an European law compel any member country to host and process any migrant AS SOON AS he sets foot into the country. So if guards catch a migrant who has just crossed the double fence and throw him back to the African side, they commit a felony and there are plenty of NGOs which will see to make them pay for it.

The “host and process” steps take years to complete and in reality, the border countries (Italy being the worst offender) just release the migrant who is then free to roam Europe.
This is why hordes of migrants “storming the fences” is a daily routine.

22,900 in 2017 is just for the West Europe migration channel, a minor route. The numbers for the major channels Central Europe and Eastern Europe are ten times bigger.
Europe is so screwed by the invasion.

Another problem is that the countries where immigrants land are also the ones with the least amount of money to process them. Spain and Italy have plenty of homegrown problems. I don't know what the welfare situation is like in Italy but welfare as we know it doesn't exist in Spain. If they don't take care of their own citizens they sure as heck aren't going to take care of illegal invaders, no matter what the EU says. Even though I live only 20 kilometers from Motril, one of their main processing centers, the only Africans I ever see are the dozen or so regulars working at selling counterfeit clothing and handbags, probably the largest employer of illegals in Spain. The rest head for the border as soon as assistance from NGOs run out. They know there is nothing for them here.

Electrify the fence, much cheaper - 1000 amps should do the trick.

With heavily fortified machine gun emplacements. And use them.

That would stop current and prospective invaders.

Morocco is full of Sub-Saharan migrants, desperate for a way to get to Europe. Many of them are “Christians” from places like Liberia. They create a world of problems in Morocco, too. These are usually the ones storming the fences of Melilla and Ceuta.

No need to make a movie of the novel The Camp of the Saints. Just send a news crew to the Mediterranean.
The problem with that is they would say, “We see nothing.”
