The perfect person for a Special Counsel would be the current Inspector General, Michael Horowitz. He already knows where most of the bones are buried since he has been doing his own investigation of the DOJ/FBI.
In fact, much of what we see now such as Mueller’s removal of Storch (Sp?) and his emails is a direct result of the Horowitz investigation. The fumes of that investigation are already getting into the rat’s nest and flushing out some of their secrets.
Horowitz would be ready to empanel a grand jury on Day 1 and start presenting evidence. No other Special Counsel appointee would come with that experience and data already in place.
January will be more interesting than the past months.

Responding to a 2015 request by the DOJ Office of Inspector General, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates told the internal watchdog they cannot investigate the National Security Division. That’s right, there was essentially no oversight on any activity happening inside the NSD.
In 2015 the OIG requested oversight and it was Sally Yates who responded with a lengthy 58 page legal explanation saying, essentially, ‘nope – not allowed.’ (PDF HERE) All of the DOJ is subject to oversight, except the NSD.
The Department of Justice’s own Inspector General (currently Michael Horowitz who opened a January 2017 investigation into the 2016 politicization of the FBI and DOJ) was not allowed to investigate anything that happened within the NSD branch of the Department of Justice until Jeff Sessions was confirmed.
The former head of the NSD, Asst. Attorney General John P Carlin, admitting their intentional misuse of the FISA court process is actual evidence of why Sally Yates kept the NSD operating without oversight.
Post election, the legal aides, career bureaucrats, investigators and agents within the entire ideological operation of the FBI and DOJ-NSD then transferred to the Robert Mueller investigation so they could keep a lid on any of their risk exposure and simultaneously maintain the entire false premise behind the Russian Collusion Narrative.
How did they get in the Mueller investigation? Through the assignment, advice and assistance of FBI Chief Legal Counsel, James Baker – who would be the point person assigning people to assist his long-time friend, Robert Mueller.
See? That’s where James Baker becomes exposed.

◾The unlawful exoneration of Hillary Clinton by political operatives in the DOJ/FBI.
◾The unlawful use of the FISA court for political spy operations by the DOJ/FBI.
◾The unlawful use of the Dept of Justice National Security Division. For weaponized political benefit.
◾The unlawful use of the FBI Counterintelligence Division. For weaponized political benefit.
◾The unlawful use of a Special Counsel (Mueller) investigation to hide the conspiracy.

The corruption is so deep it’s almost unfathomable; almost beyond comprehension. Almost. The enormity of it is also part of the defense strategy for the participants within it.
All of that minutia is part of the Special Counsel argument that will surface in the next 30 days. While that Special Counsel argument is ongoing, Nunes, Goodlatte and Grassley can use the Judiciary and Intelligence Committees to present to the world everything you’ve already read HERE.

O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!
Good Lord, the people in DC are the most corrupt, despicable human beings around. There is nothing redeeming about any of them except for the handful of honest public servants. It’s like the game they play is “How much can we get away with.” Everyone in DC knows how corrupt everyone else is, it’s just a matter of avoiding getting caught until you can die with a big pile of cash.
