Delingpole: 30 Trillion Reasons Why the Green Blob (AGW-Industrial Complex) Must Die in 2018
Breitbart ^ | 28 Dec 2017 | JAMES DELINGPOLE

In this time of alcohol-fuelled indolence, late nights, late breakfasts, and “oh God, do I really have to go back to work already?” I think it’s important that we remind ourselves who our enemies are and whom we must destroy utterly in 2018. For me, there is one candidate that stands out above all the others, not because it’s the most physically dangerous or the most savagely cruel or the most monstrously evil, but simply because it is the most ubiquitous and insidiously vile and repellant.

I’m talking, of course, about the Green Blob.

Over the last year, I’ve written quite a bit about how the entire global warming industry is basically a junk-science-fuelled scam and the biggest financial and scientific scandal in the history of the world.

Some of you may think I’m exaggerating. So in order to stiffen up your sinews, summon up your blood, and gird your loins for the fight in 2018, let me parse for you a recent newspaper editorial which sums up pretty much everything that is wrong with this scam.

This “Green Blob” has been etched into our culture for a couple decades or so, enough to the point to where many practice it as their religion.

I think Trump has a good start, such as the cleaning out of the EPA, but it will take years to eradicate this nightmare.

I liked this statement: “If governments do nothing, the resulting “cataclysmic events” that could ensue are going to have hard-to-measure effects on their bottom lines.”

“Cataclysmic events” are not “hard-to-measure”.

Perhaps it would be more accurate to state: ‘If governments do nothing, the resulting “events” that could ensue are going to be so inconsequential they will have hard-to-measure effects on their bottom lines.

This entire issue needs to be brought before SCOTUS where there is court-degree proof that the race of Man CO2 emissions has produced damage to a client. There must be loss a dollar value can be attached to that loss or it’s assumption and conjecture to assign such blame.

There already was a SCOTUS case where CO2 was determined to be a greenhouse gas (at some level not specified). Now provable numbers, values, causes and damages assessed needs to be litigated.

“I think Trump has a good start, such as the cleaning out of the EPA, but it will take years to eradicate this nightmare.”

Just defund it. Without money, it will die, unless Soros continues to fund it.

As well as the Green Blob there are the Harvard Business School alumni who maintain that they are just so damn smart that they can run any business. Thus banks are not run by bankers who care about banking, insurance companies are not run by people who care about risk, car companies are not run by engineers who care about cars. It’s all about the bottom line (for the next THREE MONTHS, of course), their performance-related or stock price related bonus, and their big, big pension (Roger Goodell anybody?)

No truer words sir, no truer words.....

The amount of damage to American industry, caused by the sentiment above, would be difficult to quantify without deep study and grounding in grounding in the past successes of managers intimate with the processes they managed.

Not that the practices of the MBA types are bad, just that they are best incorporated with a detailed knowledge of and ‘skin in the game’ regarding the product or service.

Amen, My consulting company that had a division for hiring. I made sure that any resume’ from Harvard or the like was round filed. Those arrogant folks will kill any business or organization.

The second group that got round filed was Lawyers.
