Ahhh...Cali, following right in the footsteps of NYS. Our governor is not as dumb as yours, but definitely more loathsome.

Sounds like a Gun and Ammo Store five feet outside the California border could make an easy fortune...

Since when did that stop governor moonbeam and his merry band of la raza socialist misfits?

California is already in a state of open rebellion against the rest of the US.

Do you really think that the california government really gives a shit about your constitutional rights?

I tried to order a pocket knife online last week, only to discover that I can’t receive it at my home address or my work address. I’ll bet New York State pulled some weasel crap that only allows deliver to a Gun Store.

“Park at the hotel down the street then Uber in.

Yeah, I suppose you could do that, but there’s still the issue of making a purchase on a CA resident’s credit card and also “ubering” out of the place with the ammo.

It’s better to buy ammo on-line and have it delivered to friends or relatives who live in Nevada. I doubt very much if the law will stand legal scrutiny, but the way our $hit a$$ed justice system grinds along, I’ll probably be long gone before any justice is rendered.

What a hellhole of a state. Totally noncompliant with the Constitution. Why even live in such a tyranny zone?

“I despise CA.”

I don’t despise CA, I despise what the Liberals have done to it. CA is just as beautiful as it ever was, it’s just that the Liberal $hit from the Northeast has been here long enough to take over, with the help of the Mexicans they have “imported” as their “slave labor.”
But mark my words, they are not content to have effed up the West Coast, they are now headed East to places they passed over coming here, to take over those states as well. You sit on your collective a$$es caterwauling about how “awful CA is,” while these people are moving to your state to rinse and repeat. I predict that within the next ten years, Texas will become California. The only difference is it isn’t nearly as nice a place to live, so it will probably be getting the Liberal Dregs.

“Sounds like opening a gun store just over the border in Nevada would be a good investment.”

Well, Cabella’s has a beautiful store in Verdi, NV less than two miles from the CA border west of Reno. They will sell firearms to anyone coming in with ID from ANY of the states that adjoin Nevada EXCEPT CA! But up to now, they did a land office business in ammo courtesy of CA. Now, though, I just imagine they will have a CADOJ resident snoop, just like they have at the Reno gun shows. I guess you will now need a friend with a vehicle with Nevada plates, who will buy ammo for you and lug it away to where you can transfer it to your car. Or better still have him drive it to Truckee, past the border produce inspection station, which I suspect will all be now tasked looking for “contraband” ammunition. It will end up like smuggling Mexicans across the southern border at the end of the day. Anybody got a spare “hollow spare tire!”

I have always believed that the best tactic is to stock up on powder, primers, brass and either projectiles or the lead to make your own along with an assortment of dies for all the types of ammunition you use. Then keep your powder and primers stored in airtight containers with lots of desiccant. I can churn out a lot of cartridges in a fairly short period of time. If you have the components you can make the types you need at the time instead of doing a lot of guess work about your future requirements.

Any CA Freeper know a homo muzzie illegal alien in CA, who likes to shoot? That’d be a good lawsuit.

I have some pistols that the same brass can be used so many times that I have a hard time keeping track of it.

“You have to be very careful about doing that, because the CADOJ has agents on site at Nevada gun shows. They check license plates in the parking lot then track the drivers”

Wow, what a super fascist state. Now, I suppose someone could rent a car in NV, AZ, OR with out of state plates. I know that in WI you can buy ammo at gun shows with cash and no ID.

You know there will be more than a few people running ammo into CA for clandestine (now illegal in CA) sales; probably out of state residents.

The original poster fell for the biggest gun show legend in the west. My friend has done gun shows in CA, NV, AZ, and UT and all the vendors giggle when they hear the story.

The CA DOJ may have gone after specific subjects because they were at the gun shows but no way can they track every CA vehicle and be able to stop them, not enough resources as local law enforcement can’t or won’t help unless they suspect a very serious crime occurred.

I don't use credit cards when buying anything firearm related. Cash or USPS money orders. If I didn't have relatives in Californistan, I would either reload or make large ammunition purchases (cash) in another state.

Either way, the CA black market for ammunition starts January 1.
