On Friday, MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough blasted the Trump administration’s response to a United Nations General Assembly resolution the day before criticizing the United States for recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and planning to move the U.S. embassy there.
Ironically, Scarborough himself, as a Republican member of Congress, introduced a bill that would end U.S. membership in the U.N. and scrap the institution.
On Thursday, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley warned the General Assembly in a passionate speech from the rostrum: “The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in the General Assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation.” She added: “We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the world’s largest contribution to the United Nations and we will remember it when so many countries come calling on us, as they so often do, to pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit.”
While many applauded her speech, Scarborough blasted it, in a rant to co-host (and wife) Mika Brzezinski:

Somebody told me morning Joe is really a conservative program. I’ve never watched but somebody told me that morning g Joe is MSNBC trying to be fair and balanced by having a conservative show. This person told me that since Joe was a republican congressmen that this made him conservative. Which we all know is not necessarily true, but to some, the fact that Joe was aGOP congressmen at one time makes the show conservative.
Mika seems like a liberal airhead to me
