My bet is that the attacker is a militant white liberal. They are most likely to be set off by “Merry Christmas”. Most of them are powder kegs waiting to explode at the slightest provocation.

The story sounds a tad fishy but it is California.
I’ll be ringing for the next 2 days. People are always nice except when they fight over the handifat spaces and carts...which they do.

My wife and I were checking out at Home Depot last week, and each wished the cashier “Merry Christmas” She said nothing in return, instead giving us a sort of “FU” look
Home Depot was send a description of the incident by email that evening. She could have said “thank you” at the minimum even if it was “beneath” her to wish us a Merry Christmas at all
Bam humbug. I felt alot better after complaining. Customer service types need to get the message loud and clear. Don’t insult your customers.
