Remember, Ryan did not want the job to begin with. He more or less took it under protest.
He was the best budget mind in the congress. With the actual development of a budget and the resulting tax bill, he has accomplished the best he can accomplish.

I have no doubt the GOP has already selected who their next nominee will be. But I don’t think it’s Eddy Munster.
He’s probably on the House sexual harassment/hush money list to be released after the midterms.

He must be wanting to hand the gavel back to Pelosi. He may even vote against himself toward that goal.
Ryan is going to leave after 2018 elections. Odd decision from logic’s perspective. My only conclusion is so he can help Dems win it.
