Moore was a Good and successful Candidate in many past state wide elections in Alabama.
The only thing that changed this time was a bunch of mostly out of state RINO republicans sided with the enemy and told their supporters to stay home.
If only a small fraction of them had refused to follow said advice Moore would be Senator for the next 3 years. The GOP would have a real conservative in the senate, instead of one more diehard liberal for the next 3 years.

How do you know that he didn’t try and corral them ? Even if he did , who’s going to control McCainianc , Flake, and Collins ? McConnell simply doesn’t have enough of a majority to force anything if the NeverTrumpers act up ...we don’t know what McConnell has tried to do behind the scenes ..

Many not all of them, a lot of them believed out of state RINO and instate traitors like the senior senator over most in-state Republican and stayed home.
The Democrats as few as they were were highly moblized by their out if state supporter like Obama as well as our RINO traitors like senator Jeff Flake who of course donated to the Democrat.
In any event while judge Moores innocent can still be established by investigation if these ‘honest’ women ever go under oath and submit to an investigation of their so far baseless claims.
The Democrats Jones will helping Democrats to a majority and denying us Mich needed votes until 2020.
This may of course be exactly what the rinos have always wanted in practice.
