It’s much easier when you hold the view that even with trump in office, this country is probably too far gone to save. I can count on one hand how many conservatives I come into contact with everyday. My entire family, liberal. All my neighbors, liberal. My entire life it’s been an uphill shlog for conservatives. All my years, conservative values haven’t even been treading water, they’ve been losing ground to the left. Even when we do “win” we lose because republicans are addicted to cutting their own throat. Like rush has said multiple times, we will never see this chance to shape this country how we see fit again in our lifetime.
I think the pew poll was indicative. It showed that sexual issues were more important than the economy. Americans are now obsessed about sex in a very dark way. It is going to dominate the next few years. Every American could be life bing in a 3000 square foot house but they will still judge Trump on sexual issues. Thomas Jefferson nailed his slave and had a child out of wedlock. Did that generation freak out about it ?
Deeper down than the specific dirty tricks and Moore’s skeletons this is about the new world of #metoo and the all powerful media Its long past time to admit that the left is far better at the Game than we are. All the key areas to manufacture a new ‘reality’ they are consolidating control over. The media, education systems, corporations, youth etc. Can you blame people for believing what they sell? You fail to see that the rules of the game have changed. ANY and ALL GOP candidates now are ripe targets to be ACCUSED just prior to each and every election and a bunch of idiot voters will play holier-than-thou and vote against them (or not vote) giving the election, states, and the nation fully into the hands of baby-murdering, gay-affirming, transgender-enabling, godless satan-servants.
Because all we need today to be ruled guilty is to have a baseless charge that is way beyond the statute of limitations and no Conservative candidate is safe no matter how “red” the state or area is.

Trump got 1.3 million votes in Alabama last year. Roy Moore barely tipped 600,000.
