We’re the Type of Americans They Want to Go Away
Town Hall ^ | 10 Dec 2017 | John Hawkins

Posted on 12/11/2017 7:08:22 PM PST by Rummyfan

I am the type of American they want to go away.

I get along with cops, soldiers, preppers and country boys -- the sort of guys who know how to shoot, know how to take care of themselves and would watch your back in a fight if it came to that. I don’t much like the government, but I do like small town government better than government in D.C. If someone has to be in charge, better the sort of guy you can run into at the grocery store who will give you an answer when you want to know why the potholes on your street haven’t been fixed. D.C.’s different. I know the Democrats there hate me because I’m a straight, white, Christian, Southern conservative and the people that run the Republican Party today would only care what I think if I had hundreds of thousands of dollars to give them. That’s why if I can make trouble for either group, I’m game.

There are always people in D.C. who think they have a better idea of what to do with my life and my money than I do. I don’t need any “help” from the government and I’m not okay with the government using my money to help people who should be helping themselves. When I want to give to charity, tithe to my church or buy Christmas gifts for a poor family, I do it. We may all have to pool our money to pay for street signs, the police and the military, but I don’t see any reason my money should go to people on welfare for years, the families of anchor babies or scammers doing Crossfit right before the government hands them a disability check for their “intolerable” pain....

My Father told me way back when that nobody owes you a living.

I have lived my entire life following his advice.

Unfortunately, half the people living in this Country disagree with my Father. They think the Government’s primary purpose is to make their lives easier by forcing their fellow Citizens to compensate them because Life isn’t fair.

[ I’m a straight, white, Christian, Southern conservative ]

I always knew there were more of us! ;)

I’m from the Midwest but my ancestors were from the South.

I don’t need any “help” from the government>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Nor do I. The government that governs least, governs best.

I AVOID THE GOVERNMENT’S CROSS EYED, WEAK KNEED,KNOW IT ALL, SHAKING LIKE DOGS SHITTING RAZOR BLADES, CIVIL SERVANT LAP DOGS WHENEVER I CAN.

I want nothing to do with them unless it is absolutely unavoidable, and then I don’t like it much, and they can tell.I make no secret of it.

“My Father told me way back when that nobody owes you a living.”

My Dad and yours must be related. The thought of relying on government hand-outs is repulsive to me. Not so with an ever increasing number of bums in this country.

My Aunt was Blinded by Glaucoma when she was in her early 20’s. Back then there was no treatment option outside of taking out your Eyeballs to lessen the pain from the pressure.

She worked for years Sewing Garments in what we would call a Sweat Shop today. She didn’t bitch and she didn’t moan.

She got up every day, got herself ready and walked to the Bus Stop using her Cane. No Seeing Eye Dog, nothing.

These friggin Snowflake Marxist SOB’s don’t have a clue.

About my Blind Aunt.

When the Clothing Factory closed down my Father had to forcibly take her to the Welfare Office so she would have an Income to pay her Rent (at my Mother’s, her Sister, urging).

She got $10 a week and she was embarrassed to take it. She found a new Job six Months later and got off Welfare.

Nobody in our Family had a Pot to Piss in or a Window to throw it through back then. We lived in a two room Brownstone Basement Apartment with no Heat when I was born.
My Father got $3 off the Rent because he put the Garbage Cans for the entire Building out for pickup.

I have no patience for people who think they deserve what others have simply because they can draw a breath. They get to draw that breath in the greatest Nation ever to exist on this Earth.

That should be enough to get them off their asses and stop complaining. Life can always be worse.

The pontificating switch is now off. LOL

I get along with cops, soldiers, preppers and country boys --

I also get along with the above, as well as with Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, pretty much everyone ... it's called respect for humanity and for people ... individuals, that is ... I don't get along with 'angry leftists' of any ethnic, racial, sexual, or whatever 'cause' they've come up with this week ... if you can't be good to me then I won't be good to you, I'll just ignore you.

Watch Stefan Molyneux on YouTube describe how he converts to Nationalism from Globalism.

Here are some of his points:

1. Small government, i.e. maximum liberty is more likely obtained by high IQ persons.
2. Whites and some Asians possess the high IQ as a group.
3. Importing even the best / brightest persons from an otherwise low IQ nation is detrimental since their children likely revert to lower IQ and it is unjust to strip mine intelligence.
4. It is OK for Japan, Israel and Mexico (for example) to limit inbound immigration to protect nation / culture but immoral for US to do same.

See video below. He is talking about Freepers without mentioning by name.

I gotta take umbrage to this assessment, as it suggests a static view of a particular culture as being stuck in the past. As a humanist myself, I don't believe any of what you stated above ... cultures can change, cultures can improve, and cultures can become great. (just look at Japan after WWII, as an example)

Our particular problem, here in the USA, is that there is a huge element of 'anarchy' bent on destroying what our Founders have established, so that they can impose their own tyranny on We The People ... and it has nothing to do with ethnicity, race, gender, the environment, or even sexual preference ... all of that is a ruse to divide the people, create social anarchy, confusion, so that THEY can impose a socialist tyranny in America.

I don't think that I'm all that far off on this .. despite my 'tin-foil' hat .... {laughs}

Our dad’s were cut from the same cloth. My dad said “ the only helping hand you will ever get is at the end of your arm”.
